Horrible service. There was no sign on the door saying they were only open for drive thru, so we were confused when the doors were locked. A nice kid let us in and explained the situation, and said he could take our carry out order at the register. But as he did, this lady saw us and said in a demanding voice, "We only do drive thru!" We said that there was no sign, and the rude lady kept yelling after us, "Only drive thru!" As we left. The nice kid did kindly ask if we would go through the drive thru, so props to him on his efforts.We had another bad experience at another Pop Eyes off Spring Creek where my fiance needed to use the bathroom, but an employee was in there for probably 10 minutes on his phone. Sadly to say, after this experience we will never be going to another Pop Eyes.EDIT: I thought it would be helpful to add that I never leave negative reviews of places. That is how upset we were when we left.
This location is horrible. If I could give a -5 stars I would. Every time I come here I sit in the drive through for what feels like days before someone takes my order. This time I sat there for over three minutes and there was literally no one else in the drive through. I pulled up to the window to see if they were open and this girl looks at me like she was high and says I’m sorry can you give me a minute. This was about the third or fourth time I have experienced this at this location. Seems like there are no good Popeyes restaurants in Plano.
I wish I could give a review about their food since I haven't been able to actually try their food! Three times I'd have stopped to buy food bit every time there is no one answering the speaker or drive thru window! Last time I'd waited ten minutes at speaker, no answer, drove to window and when one of the cooks saw me told the person to come and she refused to go to the window, do not recommend this location, since their customers are not their priority!!
This place is terrible. We placed an online order and when we got there nobody was responding at the drive thru lane. We tried going inside but the lobby was closed. Maybe they were understaffed, but we never got our food because they just weren’t responding. The biggest waste of time, money, and gas.
So disappointing. I waited in a long line, paying over five dollars for a large red beans and rice. When I got home I discovered that there was almost no beans. I was basically left staring at a large container of rice.Corporate really needs to do something about this location.
Garbage location. Chicken was dry, overcooked (with barely any meat) and didn't taste good. My order was missing items like biscuits and jalapenos. It was not busy (and they still fouled up the entire order). Church's Chicken on Coit Rd near Belt Line was MUCH better (chicken was thick and juicy, and the fried batter was delicious).
Listen to the other low reviews. Staff is super rude. I literally was arguing with whom is said to be the manager because I asked a question which she felt was dumb and I told her she need to learn how to speak to people and she starts laughing. Now I’m in the drive through during this. I waited in that long line for the longest just to be greeted with this. New manager and employees needed asap!!!
"Yes, But"... Visit yesterday--"are you getting in my business? Are you getting in my business??" was the response to me questioning my order. And then they proceeded to leave out the sauces.
Rude staff that takes 15 mins plus per customer.I could have had a meal with my family at papacitos and been done in the time it took to go through drive through and get my food. 10 card drove off they are so slow!!! I would give this place a negative 5 if it were an option!
Service is good but the food they need some work on... example the biscuit was hard (like a rock) .. I was dinning in and other ppl had the same issue... fries are not that great but will do.... but I have to give it to them it was super clean... not sure if they had corporate on location cause Popeye employees where sitting in the lobby... .. please step up the game on ya biscuits please .... other than that ya are great....
