I’ll get the compliments out of the way first: there’s plenty of TVs, the drinks are cheap, and the wait staff is attentive. The problem is that the so called “Sports Tavern” played live music during the Mavs game. They’re in the conference finals, and it was clear that less than half the patrons were there to see the band play. What kind of sports bar has dad rock dudes playing over a huge LOCAL playoff series?? It totally killed our experience and several people left the moment it was clear that the band was going to play. Read the room, or your sign, Plano “Sports Tavern.”

Such a friendly atmosphere, greeted when you walk in and exceptional service. Gwen is one of the best bartenders we have ever found. She keeps us coming back! Great food and drinks!
Hello. It’s Saturday November 27 2021 came into the bar with a friend to have drinks. Bartender ( Anna) made it seem that she was in a rush. I was watching some Tik-Tok videos on my phone she comes up and asks me to lower my volume down. Seriously. How loud do u think the phone volume is with music playing in the bar and about 15 people in here talking.
Outstanding service, great music with Lynn Gromes, good food and fun atmosphere, plenty of tv's for all type of sports, nice size dance floor. I'll be back.
Selling chicken fried steak but not mashed potatoes is like selling cars and not including the tires. Do better
Go to local bar/restaurant. Off menu daily lunch special are all winners. Today is Salisbury steak. Micheladas by Hannah are made with love. Refreshing any time of the year.
This is such a fun place. Thursday night was karaoke and it was good singing and a great atmosphere! Jaci was the bartender and did an amazing job! She took care of the bar and everyone so well! It was impressive! Kitchen closes at 10. Go and have a good time.
First and only time I've been there came in for a friend from out of town birthday we had a blast the KJ that did karaoke was fantastic he was friendly he was attentive he was extremely nice to my friends and I and let us sing quite a bit and it was so much fun thank you all!!!
The Plano Sports Tavern is a great place to grab a drink after work. Not too expensive, good food, good wait staff, good company at the bar. I don't know anywhere else in Plano you can have live entertainment for free and a good time with out breaking the bank. This is for sure a hidden local gem in Plano.
