The music is great but the crowd is sketchy. Every single time I’ve been here, people try to record others dancing. It’s creepy! People come out to have a good time. Recently some guy tried to record me, when I confronted him, he said he was interested. All he needed to do was approach me, not creepily record me. I’m someone’s wife anyway but this seems to be the norm at PepperSmash. Do something about this please.

So… not the Pepper Smash it was pre-COVID times. They didn’t have their signature drink called ….. PEPPER SMASH!!! “We don’t have that cocktail” Say what!! ordered a smoked bourbon with Dr Pepper, “we can’t serve that because it’s after 8pm and since it’s usually served in glass, we can’t” UMMM OK!!!! Please change your name to something else. There’s is absolutely NOTHING peppery or smash-y about this place anymore. Needless to say, I’m disappointed. It’s fine for what it is right now, just isn’t Pepper Smash. ?

It’s a smaller space, but a friend and I went for their R&B night. It was a great vibe. Great DJ. I will continue to go if they continue to do the R&B night, as it’s hard to find a bar playing R&B this far North Dallas. They weren’t serving food, but they did allow outside food (you could even DoorDash food there), so that was a nice surprise (I picked up a to-go order a few doors down to Mi Cocina for food and brought it back).

Been here a few times cool vibe, I usually come casual attire. After leaving a few spots in Deep Ellum, me and my lady headed to Peppersmash. The crowd is never dressed down in business casual or anything, so I continued my day in a calm fit (A Nirvana T-shirt, Essential Shorts, and Yeezy 700 V2’s)…Tonight I was stopped by the security guard who looked new, I was told they have a dress code tonite and he couldn’t let me in.Then I see people dressed like this the following week on their IG page ????

Love the music. Each time I have gone, the DJ has been fire. However, the place is super small. Not enough seating. Bartenders are not friendly, especially the blonde female bartender. I didn’t catch her name. Might be back solely for the music- might not. ?‍♀️

Felt rushed out by bartender and owner was talkative. Didn’t try any food but music was okay.Best to stay at Legacy hall and have fun. This is definitely a try once spot and give it a shot for yourself but yeah it’s definitely a miss.

Peppersmash is a lively spot to hangout. I like it a lot because you can keep it informal with your dress code and it's not a problem. It's fairly mixed when it comes to the crowd (party goers) and always a good time.

We planned a team happy hour here on a Wednesday after work and we showed up and the music was playing, the TVs were on and the doors were locked. We waited for a bit and didn't see a single person inside. Since there was a group of us, we ended up walking to another place.

Fun bar, great cocktails, loud music! Friendly bartenders! Pinkies up!

Awesome place, great drinks & good. Dj Ant D was on fire.
