I love diner atmosphere in general so this place started off on the right foot already! I had no idea what to order so I shot for what looked like a signature dish. It was delicious. It felt homemade. It was fantastic. I totally broke their in-house rule to lead with dessert but the lemon meringue pie was an amazing way to sign off. Would go again for sure.

Yesterday my walking crew completed 7 miles and decided to have a meal at Norma's. Put in our order and 50 mins went by and one person got their order. And hour went by, still the other 8 hadn't received our orders. A few people blamed other people. The manager came in and fell on the blame and made sure our orders were put in (must have lost them) then comp the meals. I would have rather got my meal on time and paid. But we were appreciative. We told him we would come back and see ? if this was a one time thing. We've gone to other locations and had 1st class service. Not going to give up on this location just yet.

Lots of options - sandwiches, eggs etc. - for all-day breakfast or brunch style dining.Table next to us ordered fried okra as a side that looked reeeaally good. Next time…And the pies are really good. We had the Blueberry there and took a Chocolate Meringue for later ?

We did ToGo pick up. Quick, easy, and direct. You place your order, they give you a time you go in and pick it up, no waiting in line, or anything. The food was great, everything was delicious, well seasoned and flavorful and it traveled well. A packed house is a great reference to how good the food is, and it was a full house.

We've always liked eating breakfast at Norma's but the last few visits have been disappointing. The food has been lukewarm and cools quickly. Today, our server checked in with us often, but she was often distracted too. It'll probably be a while before we try them again.

Drive by all the time, on N side of 15th Street just W of I-75 (across from Barnes & Noble), and finally decided to try it. So glad I did. I ordered their blue plate special meat loaf. Wow - really excellent. Comes with 3(!) sides. And if that wasn't enough value, the server brings out a huge bread roll and a cornbread muffin as well! Very delicious. They also feature pies and cakes - I had to order a slice to go. Their focus is breakfast and lunch. You may also eat dinner there, but be aware that they close at 8pm.

Came for breakfast and left feeling 20lbs heavier due to how full I was. The serving size is large and the pricing is reasonable for the amount given. Food was delicious and definitely filling. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Definitely recommend.Got the country breakfast with chicken fried steak, CBGB, and meat lover omelette.

Three adults dined. Service, Presentation, and Atmosphere were excellent. Food wise: Everything was way too salty!!! Fish tasted like cornmeal. Mac and cheese was gummy. Eggs were tough. Burger bun was burnt on top. We actually felt like we were eating yesterday's leftovers. HOWEVER, we will give it one more try because there was definitely an effort shown. For now though, will choose a different place to dine.

Excellent, uncomplicated food. Reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular!

I always love going to Norma’s cafe! My favorite meal is the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and black eyed peas with their fresh homemade yeast rolls and cornbread. ? If you have never been before, do your tummy a favor and check it out. Fast service and friendly staff!! ❤️
