We needed a cake for my father’s 50th birthday party, and the deadline was only a week away. The order seemed impossible to me because it needed to be big enough to feed 75 people, incredibly detailed, and all within a short time frame.I reached out to Millstone Bakery for help and they got in contact with me quickly. The cake designer who I was in touch with, Francesca, was very kind, professional, and understanding. She stuck with me no matter how many times I changed the design and went on call with me asap to work out the details, as well as gave me advice on flavors and frosting.When I saw the cake at my father’s party, it looked EXACTLY like what I had pictured, down to the finest detailing. And the cake itself was absolutely scrumptious— the Chocolate flavor and the Italian Cream flavor blew my mind with how delicious they were. All my friends and family told me that the cake was so wonderful and wanted to know where it came from.I’m so glad I chose this bakery for a custom cake, and I will be recommending this in a heartbeat to anyone else who is looking for the same thing.
Amazing! They did such a great job with my kid’s mermaid birthday cake. With less than two weeks notice as well!! Francesca was very thorough in explaining costs and details, and asking the right questions to help my vision come to life. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and ordering from here again!
My son and his fiance visited with Francesca about their ideas for their wedding cake and groom's cake. My son had his mind set on a Cherpumple. That's a cherry pie in a cake layer, a pumpkin pie in another layer, and an apple pie in the third layer! The wedding cake was excellent. And, the Cherpumple was the talk of the reception. Recently I planned a trip from Florida to Texas to visit my daughter for her birthday. Every year I make her a strawberry cake (her fav) not being able to this year I researched and found this bakery had a strawberry cake, I called, explained what I wanted, they were very helpful. The cake was ready for pickup, it was perfect, exactly what I wanted. I can truly say this was the best cake! They use No bleached flour, preservatives, high-fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated fats. They also have a selection of other pastries, bread and sandwiches. Definitely worth the visit!!
I totally went off the Yelp reviews and ordered a birthday cake for my husband’s surprise birthday party for the very first time from this bakery (yes I can be adventurous). I had no time to do any tastings etc. and let me just tell you I wasn’t disappointed nor were the guests for that matter! I was specifically looking for lemon flavor cake as that’s my husband’s favorite and they carried this flavor.It was nothing but delightful working with Francesca who gave her expert guidance on flavor, fillings etc. The guests and specially my husband loved the cake. It was truly delicious.The only thing I would say is to make sure to get it out of refrigeration in plenty of time before cutting the cake, (which they do inform you) so make sure to adhere to their instructions because they sure as heck know their cakes!!
Clean and welcoming family-owned bakery. My son and I stopped in just before closing time just to take a peek. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the chocolate croissant and latte we had was delicious. I plan to stop by on the last full weekend of the month, when they have their special Belgian waffles!

I only gave 4 because I thought the cake was little bit dry but rest of the things in cake are amazing. The chocolate mousse filling inside the cake is delicious as I was told.
