Food was served too quick like a fast food restaurant. Literally, my girlfriend and I order and two minutes later our food came out like it was waiting there for a while. Food was also cold and the server was impatient with us. Gave us our checks as soon as we finish and took our chips and hot sauce that we were still eating. Regret giving him a tip, deserve nothing. Literally wonât be coming back, more better restaurants in Dallas than this piece of junk. Wish I didnât spend my HARD EARNED DOLLARS HERE!!
Unfortunately, food comes out cold. Customer service was sweet and attentive, but food quality was not great. Chicken and steak were rubbery texture. Tortilla were easily breakable. Drinks were too sweet but okay. Ambience was adorable, thatâs about it.
Good times celebrating 2 birthdays. The atmosphere was loud but was fun times. The drinks were all AMAZING and well balanced. Food was delicious.
The food was enjoyed by all of us! Will definitely come again. I did put in comments that it was a birthday but it wasnât acknowledged, not sure if you do that or not but overall we loved it!!

Unimpressed. Quite slow, disconnected, and disappointing service. Dinner food portions for the prices are unimpressive. The skirt steak and salmon were below average; others with bass, fajitas, and enchiladas liked their meals. Done with Mexican Sugar, the search for an excellent Mexican place in Dallas continues.
4th visit, great food, great atmosphere and great service, you canât go wrong!

Great service from Abby and we loved all the food. The squash blossom quesadilla appetizer was a great way to start our meal! Will definitely bring the family back and what a great time.
This is our third visit to Mexican Sugar and it never disappoints. Food is amazing and the margaritas are always excellent! Highly recommend the skirt steak and chicken enchiladas.
