5 stars for ambience with live music (sat dinner), packed house. Food 4 star, drinks were very plain for the price. Service was great, but they forgot about our drinks until after entrees came (needed a reminder). But made up for it in treating us nicely. Overall, very good!
I had a great experience with the food. Ceviche and the arroz con pollo flavors were just succulent and delicious.
Loved it. Great service. Great food. I got a vegetarian option and it was great. Reminded me of the motherland. Highly recommend.
Lima Taverna highly exceeded expectations! The food was absolutely AMAZING. Our waiter, James, was phenomenal and gave us the perfect mix of education, suggestions and overall the best service! We loved the ceviche a la taverna, the fresh sangria, the empanadas and the dessert was also fantastic. We can’t wait to come again!
Has nice entertainment but warning don't go if your going as for a party we got to the restaurant at 7 on Saturday and Menu is not the same as on website menu when we ask waitress she said they had the dish.When they bring my wife her dish and then told her they couldn't make our dish after waiting almost 35 minutes .There was a total disinterest in filling our drinks .We reorder another dish that was $25 dollars which took another 30 minutes it was tasty but not worth the price for what we order.My kids and I ordered the same dish and whoever was in charge of portion control drop the ball because all dishes had different amounts in them .I'm sorry that the waiting staff has to look bad but if your charging this much and I'm a tipper but felt that the restaurant took advantage of the automatic tips for parties over 10 ,my bill was $165 but after taxes and a $34 gratuity charge it came out to be $212 that was for 2 adults 3kids with water and tea. The automatic tip it's unacceptable to give people this kind of experience.
Best Peruvian Food in the Metroplex in my opinion!! James was excellent! Nice, happy and cozy atmosphere. The pisco sour was phenomenal! Excellent place to get lunch or hang out with friends! We had the Lomo Salteado, Lima ceviche and Pescado a lo Macho and those were amazing! We can wait to go back.
I drove from Oklahoma to find this Peruvian gem.The best in DFW. Great service, great atmosphere, and an amazing experience overall!Picarones was delicious, and Leche de Tigre was wonderful. I also ordered Pisco Sour and I most definitely needed a second one, but I had to drive. LOLI recommend Ravioles with Lomo Saltado, it is delicious. This 5-year old restaurant is the best in DFW. I will.be back with my whole family.
