They refilled my salsa! Enjoyed the beef enchilada with chili con carne and marg on the rocks. Love the chips, salsa, and cleaning up the enchilada plate

Standard fair texmex with an emphasis on decor. Flavors were fine, nothing bad, nothing amazing. Needs more Mex less Tex to really standout, but as a place to go and listen to pop music and sip cocktails, it's fine.
You guys used to be great.Did you get bought out or something with all the changes?My wife and I went a few weeks ago to the Plano location on Park and surprised at no more free bean dip. Boy that was nice. Then the food came out lukewarm. Just a 2 table spoon size of refried beans and the casso cheese was watery/milky and not a good flavor as before.So, I decided to try the Dallas location on Preston today and exactly the same thing. So sad. My wife and I always used to enjoy Lalo's from when they first opened.I remember when El Fenix got bought out after 90 years of doing it well and the new ownership changed the Casso. It sucked. I heard they went back to the old casso recipe after all the customer comments.Maybe Lalo's will get the hint too before they fail and have to close up shop.Here is my best business advice Lalo owner/manager:Go back to what you had that made people want to come back because mall quantities, cold food, high prices and now lousy casso is a deal breaker if you want and need repeats. The casso is a must to get right.

First time to visit this evening, best place for service! I highly recommend this place for service,food,attentive but not overbearing. Every staff member works as a team,such a welcoming warm environment. Again the staff is AWESOME! 5????? Drinks or water was never empty!

What a great authentic Mexican restaurant experience! The atmosphere is a bit chic and cozy. The food proved to be the real deal and expertly served. And although the drink menu may be a bit limited compared to other latin restaurants, ours were delicious.
It was pretty good Mexican food. Wait staff wasn't the best, not super nice or attentive, but our overall experience wasn't bad.
