The management is extremely hubristic. They’re inflexible and don’t seem to appreciate customer service. After trying it we went 4 times in one month, spent over $600 cumulatively, not to mention the take out orders since. But with all the other restaurants, I can no longer justify supporting them. They are the Soup Nazis (Seinfeld reference) of Chinese Food. Here are a few examples why…1-ordered green tea and asked for another cup to share with someone else at the table and they didn’t allow it. They insisted on bringing another kettle and charging $3. With a party of 8, Petty.2-Another time I asked for an extra side of black bean sauce and they refused to provide it. I offered to pay extra and they still said no. Really???3-I called at 9:10 (posted hours state closing time is 9:30) for take out and The guys said, can you get here in 5 minutes? I said I can get there in 10 min and he said no, we closing early tonight.There are other similar examples. While The food is objectively good (which is why they get 2 stars), they don’t appreciate your business. Go somewhere that does.
The sushi is alright. le Chine is more of a Chinese restaurant.Ordered Spicy Yellow tail and spicy Salmon Sushi ? with chicken egg roll appertizer. The spicy sauce on top of the sushi was overbearing and overpowered the taste. Felt I ate the same two sushi.Customer service was good. Would come back for the Chinese dishes.
Le Chine has a very nice lunch menu with many very reasonably priced options from sushi and sashimi to entrees that come with rice, eggroll, and soup. There are a number of vegetarian choice. The restaurant has a calm and pleasant atmosphere, and the service is efficient and attentive. The food is beautifully presented, and portions are generous without being overwhelming. I had the black bean chicken and bell pepper, while my companions ordered salmon sashimi, crispy honey lemon chicken, and a shrimp appetizer. There were many things on the menu that I would like to try on a return visit - specifically the dumplings.
Reviewing just the sushi - the half off deal during the week is not a bad deal at all, but the sushi is very mediocre. Got a smoked salmon roll and a Philly roll. Both were very small and very small portions of meat. Two rolls did not even remotely fill me up. Go to ODA down the street if you’re looking for just sushi. Only reason I gave it two instead of 1 is because it was half off, but still not worth it. Can’t speak to the Chinese food, but overall, not impressed.

Staff was not the problem here; the food didn't qualify as Chinese Cuisine. It is more of a Korean Chinese Cuisine and if that is what you are expecting then perhaps it will suit you. In other words, don't go expecting that Kung Pao Beef will be typical Chinese style.
Everything about this restaurant is superb. The food quality, menu choices, unique dishes, ambiance, etc. I’ve tried a few other top rated Chinese restaurants in the Plano/Frisco, and La Chine is by far the best!!
Good not great
The food and service was great! The menu has a wide variety of options to choose from. Portion sizes are perfect. Not too much, just right for the price. Delicious!
