It has been awhile since I’ve been here due to Covid but it is still tasty and wonderful Greek Cuisine as before. I arrived during lunch and ordered the Gyro sandwich entree with green beans. The meat was tender and favorable with Tzatziki sauce in a warm pita bread. The service was on time and attentive. I feel Kostas makes one of the best gyros in the DFW area.
My husband and I are always looking to try something new. We drove by Kostas and thought we would give it a try. The ambiance is very nice and comfortable. The hummus and spanakopita are really good. The menu does not include any vegetarian options other than the hummus, salad and spanakopita, so if you are looking for a vegetarian dinner, you will not find it here. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Thursday evening, so I'm guessing that means that the food that is not vegetarian is good. Service was friendly. I would recommend this restaurant if you are not vegetarian.
I order to go, a Gyro sandwich, eggplant dip whit pita bread and key lime pie. While I was waiting I take a look to the menu. Staff was friendly, my order was delivered fast and food was great. Next time I'll dine in and try the lamb.

The food was good (not fussy on the sides. I had green beans and they tasted like they came from a can). The bread was delicious! Soup or salad and bread come with the meal. Waiter wasn't the greatest. Perhaps he was new. I don't know. He forgot what we ordered, never asked or told us what flavor soup or salad came with the meal, and he never asked us which sides we wanted with our meal. Random sides just came with our meal. He also brought out a salad for one of us when all of us ordered soup.
On Sunday 6 of us had lunch at Kostas. Two of us ordered the Lamb Shank. Simply stunning. With relish I enjoyed half and took the rest with me. Today for lunch I finished it off. Just as good as the moment it was served on Sunday. This is one of the reasons that we have kept coming back to Kostas for years and look forward to coming to Kostas for years to come!Opah !
Going to this restaurant was a breath of fresh air. The selection and the quality in food was incredible too! Everything was portioned perfectly to where your satisfied without feeling bad about it! Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant in the future!
We've been coming here for a few years. We may not get to go as frequently as we'd like, but their service, quality of food, and atmosphere makes us feel so welcomed each and every time we do. ❤️ Kostas is the best Greek cuisine around!
