Swiftly taken to our seats, this place has a good variety of food available to eat, sushi, seafood, dessert, etc. (They got signs to show the sections) They even got a chocolate fountain, pretty cool. I won’t lie though I kinda thought the appetizers weren’t the tastiest but I’ve been to a lot of buffets so perhaps it’s just spoiled bias. The place really is pretty and simple and I like the atmosphere.
1st time visiting Texas and stayed in Plano. After reviewing many resturants, I decided to take my elderly Aunt and mother to Great Wall buffet. The food was overflowing and constantly moving. The food court area was clean and excercised covid precautions with many hand sanitizers within the resturant The best part was the price. I believe for lunch buffet fees are approximately $11.99 and dinner around $15.00. I usually visit.many different resturants at many of.my vacations spots but I went twice to Great Wall. You can't best the price and food.

This is me and the Mrs. go to buffet. Food is excellent. Bathrooms are seriously clean. wait staff is attentive yet not intrusive. My wife loves to go here for her birthday. Prices are good. I can't say anything bad about the King Buffet.
King Buffet is a well-done Asian buffet. Consistent. Widest range of options. Choices range from healthy to pure comfort. Non-Asian foods available -- roast, pizza, fish, salad bar). Well-managed and attentive to hygiene (food temperatures; pandemic). Looks to be family-friendly.During peak periods, there can be a wait just to get in -- but mostly, just walk right in. Worth it.
Back for a Christmas Day lunch as our usual Chinese buffet restaurant was closed. We don't get here often as it is a few miles from house but for a Christmas lunch it was just what we wanted. BIG crowd of friends and families had the same idea today. We didn't wait very long for lunch. Service was prompt, food was hot. We got plenty including dessert. I posted some new photos.
The buffet is 14.99$ a pop and well worth it. Was invited here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at King Buffet. There were plenty of choices to choose from more than other Chinese buffet and all of the food were pleasable. They have a lot of goodies with some of the highlights including crabs, crawfish, sushi bar, and Mongolian grill. They even have a chocolate fountain for dessert and that’s saying something. All the food were hot and fully maintained for guests which was surprising for a Wednesday night. Staff were friendly and attentive all night. I had a nice experience at King Buffet and it’s a thumbs up for me this first time around.
Excellent selection. Most options were fresh when we arrived and they were quick to bring out more food. The Mongolian grill was wonderful!1.1.22 Visited again! Blew us away!!! Such good food, towering buffet and the Mongolian is ON POINT! This buffet doesn't disappoint.
They have a lot of options! Great value for the price.Highly recommend going on the weekend when they have crab.
Without a doubt this is the best Chinese Buffet in every category in the Dallas area. The manager, Chan, runs the place like a Swiss watch and Kay and his staff support him famously. All the waitresses do their jobs well. The price is still very good after they were forced to increase it. Very few places can beat their price, and the few that do cannot win in the other categories of quality and consistency. But, this isn't a reflection against King Buffet, it's just the situation for the quality of food that they choose to serve and the expense associated with providing it fresh always. I've been eating here at least once every week for 1 year, 5 months as I type this, usually with my son and 94 yr old mother and it's always good, fresh and consistent. We all look forward to it and the super kind and friendly people that we encounter working there. Thanks to everyone there for being an important part of our weekly lives! We love it, and you!
