Owner is very friendly! Amazing comfort Filipino food! Traditional Turo-turoEill surely going back!!
worst customer service EVER!! apparently, the lady over the phone stopped hearing my voice after i greeted her and asked if i could call-in an order! answered me with something unintelligible and then rudely hung up the phone. called again, to which i got a very loud “HELLO?? HELLO?????”. i’m not dumb - i know you can hear me, as i use my phone to take calls EVERY DAY for work!! it would be very, very convenient if my phone just stopped working all of a sudden! after a handful more times, her husband picks up the phone! cool! he can hear me perfectly! i asked if i could place an order with him, pick up at 620-630p. google says they close at 7. he says they’ll be closed by then because they have to do groceries. why couldn’t your wife had just said so instead of blatantly ignoring me despite having heard me the first time around?? i’ve been trying to find a good filipino joint ever since my favorite one closed down last year, and am thoroughly disappointed with the way that i was treated and the way that this was handled. sayang jud - i was hoping to try these guys out.
I am always excited to go to Plano and eat in this Filipino Restaurant. Today, we were served well. Food is good. The best part of being here is feeling like im "home". Thank you for accommodating us. Thank you ATE for taking care of us and for your generosity towards my daughter. Mabuhay!
We packed lunch once from Kainan Sa Laguna. The portion was big and tasted not bad. They prepare several different dishes and you always have diffident choices.
We had a great time! Extremely friendly and the food was excellent!
Excellent Filipino restaurant in Plano. The owner is very friendly and serviceable. The store is very up to date, clean and well air conditioned. The food is very tasty, portions are big and enough to share. I went with Filipino friends and they all loved it. Definitely coming back to try other dishes!
The place kind of smells funny. Their bathroom is one of the foulest I have ever been to. The food is okay, not particularly remarkable. There are good Filipino food places in Arlington, we just happened to drop by because we went to a doctor nearby. (Also, the old lady there was tactless particularly to fellow Filipinos. I really did not appreciate how she dealt with me, considering how she treated the white man with his Filipina wife.) Lastly, the place is not well-ventilated. It felt stuffy to me. My in-laws are fine with it, but from someone who has a daughter who is sensitive to particular smell and level of humidity, I personally found it difficult to stand when we went there. Could be different some other time, but we probably won't go back in the foreseeable future.
The front lady was so rude. If you buy the large or small portions you have to keep an eye out because she charges everything for a large. I paid the food with card and she refunded me for the food portions different with cash. I won’t be coming back here.
Very nice people and food tasted really good! Definitely will come back again???
Spoke to a rude woman over the phone. I was only enquiring about buffet and pricing and she quickly dismissed me with a dial tone. Idc if you're having a bad day but I was and I wanted to eat filipino food. So I'm giving it 1 star because of her attitude. Never gonna change my rating ever.
