Was not impressed with the food, they may have been awarded a bunch of times, but from what I could see nothing lately. Food was greasy, service was lacking, variety was ok. It is still not a bad choice for dim sum, mainly because of proximity, but certainly would not go there if I were closer to Dallas. Food wasn't bad and price wasn't bad for the amount of food, but attention to detail and better service would go a long way.
This place used to have decent food but not anymore. We went there 2 nights ago to get dim sum since we couldn’t make it during the day. The food was stale and was barely warm. We also ordered the Happy Family dish to share. It was tasteless and the portion was small for the price they charged. We will never visit this place again.
The food quality was high and the food authentic, I really enjoyed it. Filled with Chinese which is always a good sign.Definitely will be back.Not a dimsum cart place but all items were freshly steamed.Really quite good
Went there for the first time yesterday. the food was good but it wasn't any different from other dim sum places. The service was good but nothing to rave about. My only 2 complaints is that when we were sitting in a booth, my mom was sitting on the sofa, and the sofa was torn which made her really uncomfortable. The other problem is that there was no A. C. and we were all sweating...
The dim sum carts are back! With COVID, most dim sum places no longer have the push cart and you just place the order with the waitress. The Pork bun seem to have a little too much sugar/honey on top. Don't get me wrong the cha siu bao is good. Pineapple bun, crumbly and little sweet, there is no filling. The chicken feet, your either going to like it or not. Its good, lots of flavor. Surprise how much meat there is on the chicken feet. Usually there is not much meat because its a feet. The siu mai is good. The sticky rice is fairly large. In the past several years, the sticky rice seem to have gotten smaller.
Typical dim sum dishes. The BBQ Pork Bun have a little too much honey. It was still good. The sticky rice is larger than most places. The hargow, siu mai are good. The egg tart is slightly different than what I am use to. They have chicken feet! Only three pieces, they are surprisingly large and meaty chicken feet which is unheard of. The beef noodle roll, Chung fun, is good.
The food is great.But when paying the check; I'm from a Country that in order to pay with a credit card, one must input a PIN number for the transaction to complete. The girl handling the check had no idea how to make the credit card terminal to ask for the PIN number so the point of sale terminal won't even send a request to my bank.So while the food is great, not having the option to pay with my preferred method of payment is a detriment when choosing where I'll go to eat next time I visit the city.
Phenomenal Dim Sun cart service on the weekends, great American Chinese food, but by far, the best authentic Chinese food that I've had in years. The BVQ is great.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Some food are served horribly cold. Others are alright. Customer service is way worse. I should’ve never came here due to many bad reviews.Update: if I were you as business owner, I would appreciate customers feedback instead of fighting back. Through it, I could learn and improve my service and food quality. Now I understand why your place has the lowest rating.Btw, I had veggie and roasted pork belly plates served disgusting cold, which I never had in my life.
I don’t usually write bad reviews, but this restaurant does not have the best service. I use to come here all of the time for more than 8 years now and lately the service has just been terrible. The food is great, but having to wait more than 45 mins for carts to come to our table or have food delivered to ours is just unacceptable. I understand being understaffed but it’s unacceptable when you only attend the big party tables and not the smaller ones. My family had to call for servers multiple times and no response. We ordered something additional from the menu, and they never gave it to us until an hour later— even after following up about it. I don’t recommend coming here because of poor service, but the food is good so to-go orders would be the best option.
