Have you ever started a book and found it to be so tantalizingly good, you couldn’t stop reading but finally had to force yourself just to collect your thoughts about the experience? Well that’s what this place was in culinary terms. Incredibly authentic Mediterranean entrees full of flavor and splash of creativity. Priced right and servings are generous. Had the chicken shawarma, lamb gyros and hummus with rice. Seasoned to near perfection. These guys understand their craft and waitstaff are very accommodating. Our kids especially enjoyed the cozy layout of the interior which almost resembled a small dining wing of a palace. Highly recommend if you want great food at a remarkable price!
We had a great experience at Jaffa Mediterranean Restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff was great!! They were very welcoming towards us. The interior is designed in a very authentic middle eastern way. It also have an out outdoor area which is great!! We ordered a combo with chicken tikka and kebabs. Don’t regret anything!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
We had the $98 family platter and it exceeded all our expectations. There was enough food for 5 adults and 4 kids. The meat was tender and each of the Kababs tasted fresh. There was even a grilled Fish, which tasted excellent as well. The restaurant has enough seating and spacious. Parking is easy and plentiful. Highly recommend and will be back soon.
Wonderful and tasty food 10/10
We went in for the Ramdan Iftar Buffet and it was absolutely horrible!! They had a lot of filler items like salad, two types of rice dishes and eggplants. There wasn’t even a single grilled item. When they have “BBQ” in the name of the restaurant. Please save your money and go to other nearby restaurants which are a thousand times better. It felt like a lazy effort to earn money. When I complained to the management, brother Tareq did us a “favor” and charged us $16.99 per head to just sit at the restaurant for 15 minutes while we left more than half of our plates empty. Extremely disappointed with the food and their service!!
Worst experience at a mediterranean restaurant in the DFW area. The pictures on google, and the good reviews just don't add up. 1. For the food being served here, the price is way TOO HIGH. My husband and I went here for their iftaar buffet and were highly disappointed. There was no "Real BBQ-Punjab" element about the food. The lamb was definitely old and smelled terrible, the meat was practically gray in color and looked like it was left out overnight and re-served the next day. The manager/owner not sure who he was but had quite a dry attitude and asked us if we had a reservation, mind you the restaurant was EMPTY, there was no one there to eat on a Saturday night. So therefore, a reservation was not even needed. The vibe was very dry and unfriendly, and also the restaurant feels like a ghost town on the inside. Too many red flags, please stay away and save yourself the heartache.
We went for the Ramdan Iftar Buffet and it was absolutely Horrible!!! They’re wasn’t a single grilled item. When they have BBQ in the name of the restaurant. It felt like a lazy effort to feed people and earn money. And alot of filler items like salad two types of rice dishes. Please save your money and go to Dimassi’s which is a million times better. I am extremely disappointed at the service.
Amazing, amazing meats quality and the flavors- they made chicken taste better than I could ever imagine chicken to taste! Everything was cooked and made perfectly! Waited a while longer than we expected for the food to come out but it was 100% worth it cause they grill it fresh! So glad to have found a restaurant that serve fresh healthy foods and open late at night! Prices are sooo reasonable too, I highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant has no ventilation and you can see smoke building up inside restaurant. While being seated no menu provided. 10 min later after asking for it then was provided. Ordered right away and asked how long it will take. The kid had no idea so I asked if it will be over an hour. He stated no no maybe 30 min. After over an hour later no food. Asked again and said maximum 10 min. 30 min later no food so ended up leaving. Only thing we got was smoked filled lungs and teary eyes of other peoples food.
