Not really the greatest. But to be honest I don't expect any restaurant that stays open late like this to be any good.We waited for half an hour roughly for our food to arrive. The steak was overcooked even though we asked for medium rare. They gave us butter knives to cut with. The chicken was overcooked and dry. They didn't have balsamic vinaigrette nor any other type of dressing because they were out, so even though I asked for a vinaigrette I was given ranch. Not much else about the food. It was warm enough. The waitress was kind of attentive, she came a couple of times back to the table. Overall the experience was just a place to get something quick to eat. But nothing special.
Have not eaten at an ihop in several years but chose the Plano Pkwy location after a meeting this morning. I was totally impressed! The server was a young guy that was super good. I am, let’s say seasoned, so diners are not foreign territory for me. We were greeted by our server with a warm welcome and a smile followed by our drink order. The food was really awesome. I got a 2 egg medium 2 bacon 2 sausage 2 ham and pancakes ? I like variety. Every element was executed perfectly. The coffee was as good as I have ever had. All in all I would say if you haven’t been here in a while, give it a try. I know we will most certainly be back. Thanks y’all.
We went without a reservation. I didn't even call ahead. Party of 18. We got seated right away. Dylan was our waiter. The service was amazing and food was delicious. He was patient with all 8 of ours kids. Will be back to this location.
Realizing COVID-19 and mandates have sent many restaurants on the down-hill slope, I know I should give them a thumbs-up for staying open. However, one of our favorite IHOP's needs a good manager. We waited several minutes to be seated as the two servers we saw, were at the back of the room with their backs to us. We saw one booth with 4 people, one with 2 people, and a table with 2 people. So, the place was not what I would call 'busy'. Once we were noticed, and seated, the server stood her distance, masked from neck to bridge of nose, and we could barely understand her. When placing our order, I did ask for my eggs to be over-easy with a soft yoke. They came like a hard boiled egg yoke. My guy, when ordering, asked for a glass of milk with his food. The wait was long. When our food finally arrived, it was COLD. The restaurant was chilly, so we figured the food sat waiting to be served and lost its heat. Neither of us wanted to complain or send the food back..we have heard rumors of what some people do to the food if you do. The French toast on my partner's plate, looked like something retrieved from a dog's plate. When we finally saw the server again, we asked where the glass of milk was. Of course, it was forgotten, so it was not brought to the table until we asked. Then, when we saw the server again, we asked about the pancakes that were suppose to come with one of the orders. Muffled response, "Oh, we've been to busy. I'll get them to go," as she disappeared. And, that is exactly what she did. She came and placed a to-go box with pancakes in it, on our table. Of course, we left it there, left money for the check, and departed. Such a disappointment. As we were leaving, we took note of the table across from us where 2 people had been sitting and seemed to leave unhappy. They left 2 full plates of what might have been the cook's representation of Omelets. I won't say what they really looked like. Obviously, they were not edible. I love IHOP, and will continue to eat there..just not at this location.
I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I called to do a to-go order over the phone… THE LADY (didn’t get her name) was RUDE AND SAID THEY DON’T TAKE TO-GO ORDERS OVER THE PHONE?!!! REALLY??!! Why the hell not??!! You guys are either TOO LAZY AND DON’T WANNA TAKE THE ORDERS OVER THE PHONE… OR CORPORATE TOLD YOU NOT TO I GUESS!! But still regardless, the lady was kinda rude about it…. Gave me a bad taste on this location, so I ordered from the Frisco Location, was a bit out of my way… BUT WELL WORTH IT!! ASHLEY IN FRISCO…SUPER SWEET AND TOOK MY ORDER OVER THE PHONE!! If anyone drives by the Frisco location, do yourselves a favor; GO TO THAT LOCATION, friendly people on the phone and such. Shame because I use to come sit in this location a lot!
I work down the street. 1st time ordering delivery, I ordered a breakfast burrito, which was delicious for one. I am most impressed with the way it was made, it was fully loaded with avocados, Chicken, hash browns and eggs. Great attention to detail. It looked like it was for a photo shoot. Thanks
Wish i could rate the food but we left after waiting over 15 mins to be seated. They were not busy. At least 4 different servers walked by. Not once did they ask us to wait.
The place was not crowded at all. We met with Parker our waiter. He really did well in taking our order. Customer service friendly and prompt with bringing the order. He made our visit very delightful. The food was great homestyle taste. Enjoyed it will be back again.
Thankfully they were open on Christmas day! They were short handed, no doubt, but our waitress was great!!! The food was super fresh. Actually freashee than normal ?
