Visited Summer of 2022. I had high standards visiting this establishment because of the immense popularity “hot chicken” has gotten. Compared to the others like Dave’s, Sal’s and Ricky’s, etc Hot Chicks isn’t the best. I got the chicken and waffles and although it tasted pretty good the portion was extremely small for the price it was. My siblings got the sandwich and orders of tenders. The sandwich was very good and a decent size. The tenders by themselves were quiet throat burning, and not in a good way. It wasn’t spicy it was just rubbed with dry cayenne/spice on top and just didn’t taste good alone. With the sauce it did taste good though. The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is also great. My sister also got the mac and cheese, it was atrocious period. It tasted worse then boxed mac and cheese. The best thing they have id say is the french fries. Flavored perfectly and crispy. In terms of the competition in the Dallas area, it is a 3/5 when it comes to portions and taste. I would still give it a try because it wasn’t necessarily a bad establishment.
The best Nashville hot chicken place in the Plano area. It was so good I've been three times in a week. ?Though they recommend the mild flavor for newbies, I'd suggest the medium--it's not too hot when paired with their HC sauce.Favorite dish: Fit Chick Plate
Not bad, not great. After trying Dave's hot chicken this place stopped getting my business. The flavor is EXCELLENT but there is a big difference in the chicken between the two places. This place has great service, nice offerings but the chicken itself is tough and not plump. Ive tried it 10 times and the result is always the same.....great flavor but the meat is just not as plump as other places.
First place I ate when I rolled into town. I have heard of these hot chicken concepts however, have never tried them. Actually, only reason I tried this place was because I got lost in the parking lot trying to get to Wendy’s. Pretty small joint, a bit confusing to order. Do you go in front of the rail? Do you go behind the rail? Hmmm, and the menu is WAY up there. For being a big as it was (and simple) I found it a difficult read. Again, where do I place my order and with whom? No, these people just stand here on their phones, this person, nah. Oh wait, here it is, by the to- go rack!15.90 for 3 tenders, fries a drink and a side of ranch. Oh yea, some kind of dipping sauce, three pickle slices and a slice of bread. The tenders are big, love the presentation and the seasoning was great. Medium was sweet but still brought me to tears. I thought the tenders were excellent and the fries are unique.I do recommend giving this place a try. It's a good value for the size of the tenders and they fact they are freshly made to order.
The food was handled poorly. We are in a pandemic. Granted, you can’t force people to wear a mask. But the employees handling the food put gloves on, touched their hair and then handled the chicken. Another one, wiped their nose on their arm, put their gloves on, and then picked up something from the floor. I was so disgusted watching it…Covid spreads when infected peoples’ saliva, snot, or other bodily fluids come in contact with your eyes, nose, mouth. Educate your staff to handle food better. I didn’t see them wash their hands in the middle of all this. It makes it even crazier when they are in the front for everyone to see. I want a refund. Not satisfied and I do NOT recommend this place.
1st visit based on Yelp reviews. The other hot chicken locations didn't have enough info to get me to their place yet. My best advice is start with mild seasoning. Anything more you need to be fire proof I guess. Sign said wait 10-15 minutes for food but we got ours a bit faster. Maybe not too busy for Sun lunch. Weather getting better so some eat on patio.

First visit. Wasn't sure what to expect. Food was freshly prepared and served piping hot. Decor in the place is bold, black and red and pretty cool. I got tenders with medium heat and since it was my first experience with s side of fries. The tenders are a very generous size. They were cooked well and still juicy. The breading was light and the hot seasoning was a little strange for my taste because it was sweeter than I expected. It was good but probably not something that sticks out as something I can't wait to have again. The fries were ok. They're a thin crinkle cut, but I felt like I got a lot of crumbs from the bottom of the bin.Unfortunately, the main reason for the 3 stars is the customer service. I wasn't really greeted and the man that took my order didn't look happy to see me or to even be there for that matter. The other man that brought my food out was pleasant though. Everyone can have an off day, so I'll return for another visit and will adjust my rating accordingly.
