The 2 star is for the quality of the food. I give this place zero stars for customer experience.I placed an order online and was advised it would be ready at 9:19. I showed up at 9:30 and proceeded to wait for 25 minutes while the poor guy working the cash register and the host looked around helplessly and then gave me someone else’s order. Both the host and the guy at the register told me to talk to the manager rather than walk back to the kitchen to look for my food.The manager was pacing the front of house on the phone and finally advised someone else had taken my order and that they were “refiring” my order. While the manager did give me a gift card for my troubles for next time, the better option would be to implement a check off on food orders (include summary of the order on the receipt with name printed). While I waited I watched multiple Uber eats and door dash drivers come in and take the wrong food. Rather than have 3-4 people crowding the host stand, have an employee assist in making sure orders are given to the right people.This place has great food, but having this experience does not inspire me to make a return trip.In the total of AN HOUR I spent standing waiting for my food, I saw a lot of chaos among the staff, lack of initiative and no quality assurance happening.
My husband and my favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Plano! We first stumbled across one in Florida and knew we had to come here and check out the one we have locally. Very impressive and expansive menu. I do wish their portion size was larger though. Yes - they can be extremely busy so I’d recommend coming in before or after the typical brunch rush.
I have been to First Watch plenty times and different locations. Today, I had the joy of visiting this location. My girlfriend & I were seated at a table pretty quickly. We had the pleasure of having Kate as waitress. Words can’t describe how much of a great waitress she was to our table. She was very punctual & polite. She continued to check on us. Kate’s spirit and attitude is top notch. We’ll be visiting this location soon and requesting Kate as our waitress again.
If you’re in the mood for a health minded brunch, this place is a nice stop. My boyfriend and I went to first watch and were seated right away. The food was overall good. I ordered the shrimp and grits with coffee and we split the millionaire bacon. The bacon seemed like regular bacon with syrup drizzled on top but still tasted good. The shrimp and cheese grits did not disappoint. The menu had a variety of healthy food and juice options to choose from. Overall, nothing too fancy here but definitely does hit the spot!
First watch is one of my favorite brunch spots. Today, my family was served by Kate and she is absolutely wonderful! She was very thoughtful and catered to the needs of our 5yo twin boys and 9yo princess. She made it an enjoyable experience for us all! The food was great as well! The crab cakes Benedict was delicious!
We had breakfast at First Watch this morning. We didn't have a wait. Our server Kate was amazing. She is personable, knowledgeable, and makes you feel glad to he here. I had the salmon eggs Benedict and it was the BEST I have ever tasted. A perfect balance of flavors and beautiful presentation. Today was a day I wish it was culturally appropriate to lick my plate. I was also able to taste the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were light and fluffy with a lovely combination of lemon curd and strawberries. I cannot recommend First Watch enough and having Kate as our server truly rounded out an exceptional culinary experience! I would have taken a photo for our review and perhaps the totally empty plates would have told a great oart of the story. We look forward to coming back.
I walked in and the first thing I noticed was there was going to be a little wait. No one was in the front to make sure customers were acknowledged. However, the food was actually good. It wasn’t too tier but it was good. Not a lot to say about this place other than the breakfast we ordered was good. Nothing superb about the customer service and food to give it more than an average rating.
Bit pricy but very tasty. I had the Trifecta with scrambled eggs, a Belgian waffle, and bacon. I don't know what they did to the bacon but it was the best I've had in my life. The eggs and waffle very both prepared incredibly. The seats were also exceptionally comfortable for a restaurant, making the experience very inviting
My first time at First Watch (no pun intended). I was greeted warmly by the two wonderful hosts at the front and was sat right away during a busy time. The food was amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the service that Austin gave me. I could tell he was new but he treated me better than some of the more seasoned servers I’ve dealt with at other restaurants. Will definitely be back.
The first time I went to this one I had a bad experience, so I tried to give them a second chance and I wish I hadn’t… I went in an ordered to go for myself and my family. After a 30 minute wait which I was fine with, they proceeded to give me eggs that someone clearly ate already and bacon that was chewed on, pancakes burnt (didn’t realize all of this until I got home) so I went back waiting for more food and so I checked it there this time, and they proceeded to give me burnt bacon this time and burnt pancakes again, I couldn’t believe it. I will never go here again and wouldn’t suggest anyone else will
