At the counter placing my order I was asked if I wanted to make a donation; I replied 'no thanks.' To my surprise when I get home and look at my receipt there is a donation tacked on to my charge receipt! I called the restaurant to express my concern. I was first told, 'why didn't you check your receipt?!' Then I was told that the cashier misunderstood me - is it difficult to understand the difference between 'yes' and 'no thanks' ??? Totally ruined my dining experience. Very disappointed by the response to my concern.
I always love a good sub, but this place will always hold a special place in my heart just because of what they do for the firefighting community. Many members of my family have been or are in the fire department, and this company, with their constant support of firefighters and their groups in general, make me always want to support this restaurant. I’m so happy there is one close to me, and I’ll continue coming here!
