Don't expect anything fancy, this is a mom n pop hole in the wall. My girlfriend says they have the best fajita beef street tacos she's ever had. I personally am yet to be completely "wowed" by this place but, it's not bad food and I respect the many years they have been in business serving the community. For that, I give 5 stars and recommend stopping by if you're in the North Plano area. This review is making me want tacos... ?
Their top shelf margs are delicious and fairly priced. I frequent this place often. I teeter between the enchiladas and fajitas normally. Lunch prices are great and you don't have to sacrifice flavor or portion really. I hardly have had to wait for seating. Don't be scared that doesn't mean they suck or don't have business. They always have customers! If you enjoy yummy tex-mex and love supporting local businesses this is a great choice.
I went with friends to celebrate my friends' retirementI would call it a hidden gem in Plano. The margaritas are really good. Even though, I don't really drink, I ordered a frozen margarita. I couldn't finish it since they're really big. The chips and salsa are really delicious. And their food is pretty authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed going and I definitely will go back.
Service is great and genuine. Prices are very reasonable. Sweet tea is amazing!!! Fajitas nachos so good!!! The cheese enchiladas could be better but I’ve also had worse at other places.
After reading all the five star reviews, my expectations were unreasonably high for this establishment. The pros:1. Delicious tortilla soup2. Good, attentive service3. A nice and cozy neighborhood vibeThe cons:1. Small enchiladas2. Lots of soups but no beef soup3. Food was good but nothing spectacularIf you are in the area, stop in. It’s pretty good. If you have to drive more than 20 minutes, save your gasoline.
We found the restaurant to be over priced and the service mediocre. When I ordered vegetable fajitas and found out they charge me full price as if I ordered steak fajitas it was quite disappointing. Even more disappointing was the fact that the owner didn’t care nor tried to make things right when I brought it to his attention The quality of the food was OK at best but the price was not worth it.
Living in the city of Prosper, it is impossible to find the delicious taste of ACTUAL Mexican food like we did here at El Pueblito!! The quality of their meat was incredible and even my 4 year old said this is THE SPOT for Mexican food! Very pleased with all the food we had. Thank you!
Only been here once, but definitely planning to go back! I had the 2 beef enchiladas plate and a sopapia with ice cream ????
Hole in the wall food was good drinks were really good had a top shelf margarita. Delicious.
You would never look twice at this place from the outside! The food was delicious and the helpings were massive. Make sure you try their hot sauce! Amazing!!
