Coffee and ice cream are delicious, but the place is not very clean.
Went in this morning to get a muffin and some hashbrowns. I had a two dollar coupon and my total was only $3.55. After using my two dollar coupon a total of $1.55 was due. I was told by the lady that since my total due is under $2 I have to use cash, I can NOT use a card. I asked her where was that posted? She told me that it’s not posted, that’s just a policy. I explained to her that I do not have cash on me, all I have is my card, she told me to order more hashbrowns. I told her that I would not like any more hashbrowns. She then threw my muffin to the side and told a gentleman to make me an order of hashbrowns. When I got home my hashbrowns looked like they were reheated and/or taken out of the garbage.Like others, this is not my first bad encounter with this place, but it will be my last.
Locally owned Duncan Donuts and is horrible. First time I went here I had to wait 5 minutes before the person working finished her cell phone conversation to come around the counter & take my order. Next time I came here I thought they had white mocha syrup but realized once my order was made they don't & only have mocha syrup. I explained that I didn't realize it would be mocha, never touched the drink made and asked for a different iced coffee. She then tried charging me for the other coffee saying it was my mistake & not theirs. I was shocked b/c it's literally an iced coffee but she finally said ok and didn't charge me. The other girl behind the counter complained the whole time while making new my drink saying it was my fault to her manager. Then once I get home to eat my donuts I realized they gave me the wrong donuts! I call them to say my donuts were wrong and I want to come back to get the correct ones & verify they have what I'm coming back for. The lady tells me to keep my donuts & come back tomorrow but I told her I'm coming back now. Once I arrive back, I show the lady the donuts bought were wrong b/c I didn't want them giving me anymore problems, she takes the donuts back and then gives me the correct ones. No place takes food back like that and I got this weird feeling that she planned on putting the uneaten donuts back on the shelf. I'm also 9 months pregnant and just the overall rudeness from the workers at this location was very sad.
The service was terrible, and I picked out breakfast for the company meeting. It was a big order, and he was very impatient and very ill-mannered. I don't think I'll ever come back to this store again. I tell my friends not coming this store too. terrible！terrible！terrible！
I have generally had only good experiences here. The last time I went on Thursday, the lady making my iced coffee had a very ugly, nasty attitude. I had enough points to get a free drink which I used to order my drink in the app. I had wanted cold foam which I had to pay for (only $0.70) and as the lady was making my drink makes a statement under her breath. She should have kept her comment to herself and if she doesn't want this job, she should find another one, preferably not in the customer service industry.
Avoid this Dunkin. Worst experience I’ve ever had at one.I was checking out and the rude short cashier lady, who already seemed to have a difficult time taking my simple order of a chocolate donut and hazelnut iced coffee, didn’t even give me the chance to pay with my gift card. She scanned my rewards and walked off. Once she came back she rolled her eyes and said “Really? You couldn’t have shown me that before I start the transaction?” Then with plenty of attitude, she made me cancel the payment and scanned my gift card. Then since that one was empty I tried to scan another and she told me “You can’t do that. Only one gift card. I can’t scan another. You have to pay.” Odd right? It’s a gift card, it’s money. How can I not use more than one gift card. When I tried arguing she just said with lots of attitude “You can use it tomorrow. See you tomorrow.” Avoid this place. Extremely unprofessional and rude.
Saw a man being racially profiled yesterday. They refused him service because he wanted to use a credit card. Only POC in the store. The rest of us were allowed to use our credit cards.
They have a very interesting customer service. I came into purchase a Chocolate Chip Muffin, I wanted to pay for it in change: quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. My payment was refused, she suggested that I go to a bank or McDonalds or a bank. Over the past year their has gotten less and less customer friendly. They no longer offer a senior discount.
Update : sept 26.New lady and still rude. Will never talk nicely. Didn’t not accept credit card for 1$, but would accept other folks. Last time I tried this place. Would give 0 rating if given chance.The lady is always rude. I always go early morning like between 6 and 7 and she is never interested in order. Would avoid going to place.When ever I used any credit provided by Dunkin donut instead of paying : she is more rude.
Ice cream!!! What else can I say? I enjoy their outdoor seating and the staff are always friendly and pleasant
