We had lunch there today. My wife ordered an entree & I got dumplings, but rather than bringing our food together, they brought hers immediately & mine 10min later telling me that they make the dumplings to order. The dumplings were good, but they should have waited on my wife's food & brought both at the same time.Also, our server never came back by to check on us & merely dropped the check on our table. It would have been nice had she checked on us so that she could have gotten me some more iced tea.So, good food, but not good service.
The first time at this place and the quality of food wasn’t very good. The soup dumplings had good flavor but the presentation was terrible. Looked like they were shriveled but again the flavor was good. The pork buns were alright flavor wise but they all stuck together. It was hard separating them and they all ended up ripping apart. I also ordered some noodles with beef. Again the flavor was alright but the noodles felt really powdery and kept sticking to the roof of my mouth. Overall, I think they made a few changed to this place on their food quality it would actually be really good. I hope they are able to improve from here.
Combo lo mein, general Tso chicken, and beef and onion dumplings. Price is different than online menu. Taste is good but I feel like the portioning of their Togo orders are smaller than What it’s worth for the prices. I’d probably stick with just getting dumplings from here & then order fried rice, noodles or other entrees from other local Chinese restaurants. They have larger portions for the same price and taste the same. (I still would recommend this place for the dumplings!)
You don’t want to order from them for delivery. Several times they screwed up our order and it happened again tonight. Then when we called and complained about it they said they were to busy to send the right order. I’m done with these people at this point
The food was delicious great dumplings and meat buns. The entrees are good as well on the picture you see the lamb dish with meat buns and egg rolls. This would be a great takeout place but not dining in. The issue with the this place and has been for the last couple of times I have been there is the staff. The staff only greets you then forgets about you until they see an empty dish. I literally had to walk up to the waiter so I could just get a refill on my water.... WATER but other than that great food.
This place is usually awesome food, but this visit for my daughters Birthday was lacking. It was freezing inside. And the double cooked pork was barely single cooked. It like eating raw bacon. We will probably come back one more time just incase this was a fluke.
Dumpling House has become our favorite “destination” Chinese restaurant, worth driving in from our outer Dallas suburb home. We have yet to try a dish we didn’t completely enjoy.
Best best dumplings around! Love stuff, our waitress was super kind and lovely.

Food was not bad and had some decent flavors. That and the portion size were not worth what we paid though. I'd prefer to get my future dumpling fix somewhere else
