Incredibly disappointing experience tonight. We have been loyal Del Friscos fans for 25 years. We used to frequent the original on Spring Valley frequently but for the last several years since it changed owners we have stopped going as frequently. The last time we came to the Plano location we vowed to never return. Today we gave it another chance and regret it. First, the Delâs salad is so not what it used to be. The bacon used to be think quality bacon that stretched across the plate. Now itâs this small piece of the thinnest cheapest bacon. Then the bread that used to be so good is now these really hard rolls that taste like frozen bread. I spent the entire meal with my drink never being filled. Several staff members walked by and never noticed. We order the surf and turf entree and when it came they didnât bring melted butter for the lobster. When we asked for it we received a response like it was a huge burden. The plate they brought had dried up food in a these four places. When I asked our waiter to replace it took over 5 minutes. The person who brought our steaks never asked us like they used to to cut in the middle to see if temperature was right. Of course the steaks were reversed and we got each otherâs. Finally we have for over 25 years have always ordered the lemon cake. Well they were already out. We then ordered the cheesecake and of course it was the smallest thinest piece of cheesecake and tasted right out of the freezer. Save yourself the high price for this chain steakhouse now and go to a real place that still feels like an upscale steakhouse.
Pretty Average and mostly forgettable. Nothing stands out as a reason to revisit in the near future.
We had an amazing time thanks to our server Nicole. Hands down, it was a great time. The food was great we had the Tomahawk and sides the mashed potatoes and lobster and Mac n cheese. Really good we will definitely be back!
Nice spot for something special to celebrate . The food was tasty and good quality. The drinks were good and not weak. I would have given it 5 stars if the drinks were not around $18 dollars and lack of steak choices around $45-50.

The steak Trio is a must try. I split it with a friend and it still was plenty. Always love the wedge salad too. They filled my request to have it chopped. Then topped the meal off with my fav drink, the VIP. The customer service is always great and I love, love, love the atmosphere on the second floor!
Our server was very rushed. He even said he had large parties. I like DF but itâs disappointing when dropping $400 to feel like you are being rushed and an inconvenience.
We had a business lunch for Del Friscoâs and it did not disappoint!
Amazing experience. First time at this location but Del Frisco's never fails to deliver. Outstanding service from Rex, and I believe the manager (judging by the suit and welcoming demeanor) came to check on us midway through the meal. This is why Del Frisco's is my favorite steakhouse and will be for a long time.
