First time and definitely will visit again. Great atmosphere and decor , love the paintings on the wall. Friendly staff quick service. The food was great and delicious. The Mac and cheese could be better and that would seal the deal as being the best hands down …. But it has a straight out of the bag taste ….. the chicken is sooo good though, great crispy flavor and seasoning is perfect….. as much as I love simple menus there options are a little biased and off putting with what you can select ….. if your just looking for a quick and tasty snack this is the place….
First time to eat here. I got the medium spice and was nice. The chicken was really good. Had a nice crunch to it. The atmosphere is nice, the customer service was awesome, had everything was clean. I will be back.
I really enjoyed the food! I got Medium, but really could've went up a notch or two on the spice. Next time I'll def get the Hot or Extra Hot level! I also got a side of cheese sauce, which was basic cheese sauce, but the special sauce is fire! ?? Phenomenal customer service!!!
This place has a simple menu, and I've gone THREE days in a row now... lol and brought the family back each time... the chicken is delicious... extra hot doesn't seem hot though, but hot and extra hot both have nice flavor. Haven't tried others yet. Daughter LOVES the fries (she eats my fries) anyway, was a bit disappointed on trip #3 when I brought the wife and we placed a to-go order.... when we got home, we noticed each of our boxes they had gave us a tiny tender in comparison to past visits and to the other sandwiches next to them. Was a little disappointed. Anyway, they were delicious and she loved it.
Dave’s hot chicken is pretty good. The average, play it safe, quick bite type of joint. If your not feeling adventurous and just want a basic sandwich and your fixing of sides this is the place. I would eat this over fast food any day. I would rate Ricky’s higher then Dave’s but Dave’s is still on par/your slightly above average chicken spot. Service is a little flimsy but prices are fair !
We went around 10pm and there were few people eating inside the dining room. Staff greeted us and were friendly. Ordered takeout, #1 two-tender meal (added two tenders for $4.95 each) w fries, mild spicy. The order came out within 3 minutes!We left very excited to try out this place. As soon as we got home we were not disappointed! It comes with house sauce in a packet and extra of it in a cup. They also gave us honey packets and ketchup. Steam came out of the box, the food was fresh and chicken was fantastic.The only thing I would complain about is the amount of salt and seasoning that’s used. It can leave a sting on your tongue, it’s super salty.Other than that, come here when you’re craving a greasy late night snack!
Great experience at Dave's! The fried chicken is halal, so you know it's good quality meat. The 2 slider meal is really just 2 chicken sandwiches, so you can split as long as you don't mind sharing fries. Speaking of which, the fries are crinkle cut for maximum crispness. Chicken was also very moist.I got it medium spicy but didn't find it to be spicy at all. They were a little heavy-handed with their dry seasoning which made the chicken a little salty, but overall balanced out well with the kale slaw. Would def come back!
They have big portions for each one. I love their fries!! I can say is the best fries!! We ordered the medium spicy which is good! Kind of lack favors of the chicken tenders. But their fries are super good and full of favors!
Best fried chicken in town and they have five to six different heat flavors to choose from. And the best part is the chicken is halal. Will definitely be going back. Service was top notch and staff was super friendly. Food was hot, delicious and hit the right spot on a cold day!
It was good, they did get our order slightly wrong but no biggie (we ordered for 8 people). They were generous with their sauces which we really appreciate.Don’t sleep on the mac n cheese. I’d skip the coleslaw. ??
