Food is delicious: especially linguine pasta and tiramisu!Atmosphere is nice. Nice place for a date night. Owner has pictures of his father’s Italian restaurant in NY all around. Really cool.

Best pizza ever and great Italian dishes. And, you can bring your own wine. Been going for 20 years and can’t wait to go back next time! Joe Covino knows how to do it.
Joe’s is a rare and comfortable place where when you walk in you feel like an old friend.You will never feel rushed and the food is exceptional. I recommend the Marsala and Chicken Agnolotti. The BYOB aspect is also appreciated. This evening a friend was celebrated with a Birthday Cannoli.
We has a fantastic time @ Covinos! Started with Salad Caprese & focaccia. Excellent preparation!! I had the eggplant with no sauce abd garlic spinach on side! Hubby had gnocchi with meatballs and all was outstanding! Dessert was a cannoli which we loved! Terrific service and food outstanding!
We ordered the calamari and “Joe’s special” NY style pizza and a dinner salad. The calamari was overcooked and dry, it came with a tub of marinara sauce. The pizza did not travel well. I arrived at my destination 7 minutes after I picked up the food. The center of the pizza was wet, gooey and fell apart. The pizza toppings quality was good. The salad was nothing special.
Love this place. Staff & owner are on point with service and so friendly. Makes for a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. My Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and the sausage I ordered on it, superb. The Chicken Agnolotti my son ordered? I had a bite and it was hands down one of the most incredible pasta dishes I've ever tasted. I'll be ordering it for myself next visit.
This is our favorite neighborhood Italian place! Bring your favorite bottle of wine from home and enjoy fantastic food and friendly service. They have a great patio which is wonderful if you are like me and still a little concerned about eating inside somewhere. If it is cold outside they will turn on the heaters for you.
Cute atmosphere. Slightly above average New York Italian. The service overall is good. Byob is a definite plus!
Arrived in Plano at our air BNB and was looking for something to eat. Called Covinos for delivery and they had no one to deliver so we decided to walk. We had wings and pizza which was wonderful. All the other food looked just as good and large portions. Was well worth the walk!
I’ve been a customer for years. I absolutely love the Chicken Piccata. Don’t see a favorite on the menu, ask. They often make other options! Oh and the updated decor… wow! The place looks so fresh. It’s byob and portions are excellent! Enjoy!
