Juan the manager was very friendly and helpful. The store was much cleaner than our last visit and the food was again the great chicken "Chicken Express" is know for. Thanks Juan.
I used to eat at chicken express all the time, and liked it, until yesterday I got food poisoning.
We used to love coming for their spicy bone in wings. They got rid of them. We've come back a handful of times for their spicy boneless wings which are tiny and basically just chicken nuggets but they're still tasty. However, now they've gotten super cheap and won't give any sauces with your meal unless you pay extra. This is crazy when all the other chicken restaurants give at least 1-2 sauces per meal. Such a money grab. And when they skimp you on the sides and amount of wings you pay for each time it's just not worth it anymore. Avoid this one.
The place was clean and the food was fresh. Although 3 piece thighs doubled in price in the last year or so.

Good meal overall. I thought the taste was better but I prefer other chicken places. The staff was professional and even put ketchup in the box for the fries. It was all packaged well and the portions were good.
I was a frequent customer of this location until today. It's a shame the manager was willing to lose a customer over a simple drink order that I've ordered every time the past 3-4 months. Most places I normally order 1/2 sweet tea and 1/2 lemonade. But the CE sweet tea is a little too sweet therefore I ask for 1/3 sweet tea, 1/3 unsweet, and 1/3 lemonade. There's never been an issue until today. I was told they can only do half and half. When I asked for an explanation of why they couldn't make my drink order the manager came to the window rather aggressively and said "we can only make 2 flavors. We can't do 3, 4 flavors!". I responded and said ok I won't be back here. His response was "Ok".So apparently they're too busy to make a simple drink order that they've always made and would rather lose a customer! ??♂️
Rude customer experience manager was rude and yelled at me for bo reason. Literally drove 20 mins to another chicken express because I did not want to give me money to a store that doesn't care about paying customers.. won't ever go to this location again even if its a 1 min drive from me.. ill drive an hour if I have to to another locatuon. Needs better management and service.
This used to be the place to go, now the service is horrible and after I spent $50 on chicken tenders they wanted to charge me another dollar for the serendipity shake. Unreal.
