I was a little disappointed in the service. For it being Hibachi and the chef being part of the experience, he was not very entertaining. He basically just cooked our food. Not as enthusiastic as many of the other chefs we saw. Our waitress was also a little less than. Just disappointed for it being such a notable place.
Dijon, our server, was so fun and funny! He was great. Never an empty drink or a dirty dish on our table. Food was beyond delicious.
Worst experience ever. Horrible service, dirty restaurant, no conversation at all during the âshowâ, did not give us half the items we ordered. For cover $200 we left feeling ripped off, dirty and annoyed. Will not be back.
First time here and the service was poor. The food was mediocre. Never again.
Very slow service - whole meal. Menu, Floors and counter sticky. Had to keep asking for basic items. No brown rice avail, machine broken. Not told until rice didn't arrive. No value. Will consider other options next time.
Service was great. My server was super nice and she was awesome. Food was not so great. The sushi rolls were not fresh whatsoever, and the some of the hibachi food was over cooked and ended up tasting dry. Sadly it will be the last time I go to the Benihana Plano location.
Waited over 1hr and 30 at the table with no chef. Manager came over after we asked multiple times and was absolutely rude. He only covered the tables drinks. Literally had 1 drink each and no food and thatâs all his did. Very disappointing. Server was terrible as well. Everything was just terrible. Our whole table got up and left because of how bad everything was and no one ate! Not to mention it was a 4 year olds birthday and she left hungry. Felt so bad Because she was so excited to not even get to eat. The manager should of given each family some sort of gift card or something to come back due to how embarrassing and terrible the service was. We come there all the time and this is just a reason to never return. There is plenty of hibachi places or really any restaurant in general who would have done more. Very embarrassing. Not to mention he didnât even try to get us to stay and eat. Pretty much just threw his hands up and did nothing. Very disappointed.
Our chef barely interacted with us. He looked like he didnât want to be there. The party behind us has to wait almost an hour because they didnât have enough chef to accommodate. So I felt maybe we didnât have a good âshowâ because our chef may have been burnt out trying to finish all these dinners because they were short staffed.
Horrible service today. Food was just plain. We always come here all the time and there wasnât any taste to the food. Shrimp /lobster they usually squeeze lemon and today nothing so it tasted so dried. My steak was way undercooked and big pieces. They forgot out steam rice and the extra mushrooms. When I called and spoke with one of the managers (Bradley ) he pretty much told me why did I called ? Just horrible experience and that manager wasnât very nice either.
