This restaurant is closed and we drove an hour to try it. Not much more to say to meet the 100 word limit here. It was in the back of the shopping mall but neither google nor trip advisor knows its building is for lease.

We have eaten here several times, usually the service is wonderful. This time, we had reservations and had requested a table near the live entertainment. They tried to give us a booth and ended up seating us at a table. Before we could order, the manager came and said they needed our table for another group. No, we want a table, and had a reservation. The manager, Cameron, was very rude and advised us that he was going to get us a table out of storage because they were going to take our table for another group. They brought a very small table and shoved another half table against it, after we stood and looked ridiculous waiting for a table. He also offered to seat us at a bar table away from the entertainment. The owner wasn't any more polite, he kept saying "well how are we going to resolve this?" Not take our table? bring the other table for the other group? We ended up leaving before we even ordered. The poor waiter watched hisi $50 tip walk away. Very rude, very unconcerned with our comfort.

Don’t waste your money! Waited 18 minutes for service. Several wait staff walked by me helping other tables and never acknowledged me. Got up to get help finally after seeing them “discuss” why they couldn’t help me I got service. My schnitzel was ok the rest of the food was awful. My sons meal tasted like dog food. It was a chipped beef rolled up with a pickle and creamed spinach the waiter said it’s excellent. It was not. Had to find the waiter to pay $62.00 for food that was not good and then spoke with a manager who could have cared less. That is why I’m writing a review. Had the manager actually cared about my experience I would not have left a review.

Beer and Schnitzel, how can you go wrong. AND let's not for get the potatoes, mashed or in a pancake, either way delicious. The beer comes in liters in mug that will make your hands look tiny!Pretzels and spicy mustard are a pretty good alternative to chips and salsa but I miss the bread.

Started ordering drink and appetizers off the lunch menu about 3:15. Food and drink were very good. Got the check about 4:30. Everything was charged at dinner pricing. Jurgen said that since we paid after 3:45 that we were charged dinner pricing for everything. IE: your lunch pricing is determined by when you pay, not by the menu they give you or the time when you you order .

Wow, is all I can say. Great service and food. Lots of others felt the same way because it was a full house when we got there. If I hadn't made reservations I don't think we would have been able to eat (so make sure you make reservations). I grew up in Germany, so I am pretty picky about my German food. The goulash and rouladen were delicious, and the Black Forrest cake was made correctly (you wouldn't believe how many restaurants mess up this cake). They also had a big beer selection, draft and bottled. If you like German food, you owe it to yourself to visit. I'll be coming back next time I'm visiting the area.

First time here, we came for my boyfriend‘s birthday since he loves German beer and we had never been to age German restaurant. I loved the vibe and everyone is so friendly. The Gulasch soup was really good but I think we might’ve ordered the wrong entree. We tried the five sausage platter and didn’t think much of it but I would still be back for their beer and soup and maybe try one of their more traditional entrées.

Where to start? The experience was abysmal. After a two year hiatus we returned expecting a similar high quality of service and culinary experience , it was not to be. Service is represented by an level of attentiveness that is neither intrusive nor absent. The urgent pressure to order almost before we could get into our seats was followed by a vanishing act . Once our server managed to get back to take our order we had no further contact, for the significant period of time it took for the meal to arrive. Presentation of the food briskly done and exactly reversed , although the server who took the order and delivering the order was one in the same. With respect to the meal , the pancake was of an unrecognizable flavor and texture as compered with German and or European potato pancakes we have consumed, anywhere, and not in a positive manner. The spaetzle was doughy, gummy as if almost uncooked. The Yeager schnitzel while cooked properly had what appear and tasted as a canned sauce with essentially still cool canned mushrooms, which had this not been a thirteen or so dollar entree rather than a thirty-five dollar entree , may have been perhaps nearly acceptable . The Maple Leaf Roasted Duckling with “crispy skin” had no such crispy skin and what appeared to be the same level of canned sauce as the schnitzel. The vegetable medley was the “highpoint” of the culinary experience. This restaurant has no business being touted nor ranked as one of , if not “the” top German restaurants in Texas nor as one of the “best” in America. The reputation must be based on the extensive German beer catalog , for it doesn’t even qualify as a restaurant for a culinary experience in comparison to many of the “fast” food national change. As we stated a the start, sadly, they have fallen a long, long way,

The service was slow but the food was just like I remembered from my years in Germany ??

As a German (born and raised) I can say that this is a pretty legit Bavarian experience, ambience and food is really good and the selection of German beers is fantastic.I am not sure what language the accordion player is singing in though ;) Still fun to listen to! Wunderbar!
