The atmosphere was beautiful. When we arrived, we had to stand around and wait for the hostess to return to the front desk. I highly recommend the Juanita and beef fajitas on the grill. Most of the items in the Tex Mex section of the menu is a cheesy mess and contain various combinations of the same ingredients. I would say my experience was ok.

Went to dinner with my wife and daughter and the Vietnamese waitress was extremely RACIST! Would not ever make eye contact with me and would only talk to my wife who is white by the way. Which was unbelievable, and Would not talk to me when asking us what we would like to order. The food was good but her service was unacceptable . Was very attentive to the table next to us , and we had to literally had to flag her down complete racism! We will not be eating there again. So the 89.00 tab was left with no TIP!!!!!! so learn to treat people with respect and kindness

This particular Anamia's Plano, Tx location has great potential, but has some of the most arrogant and incompetent managers I have ever dealt with. There is a huge percentage of employee turnover rate.?Multiple overworked employees have resigned for better opportunities, reasonable take home pay of more than about $12 hr, and family time. Managers refuse to hire more bartenders. Usually, there is only one bartender for the entire restaurant; maybe two on Friday and Saturday. Bartenders have to juggle serving tables while they make drinks for actual servers, causing customers to wait/complain.?Some employees don't care about quality control for food delivery and proper food presentation. Furthermore, many drink cups/wine glasses have stains and water spots. But, they want you to pay premium prices!?

Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Seated promptly and got chips and salsa. My taco salad was LOADED with ingredients, not just the usual beef, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce. The shell was fresh and tasty. The fajitas were cooked to perfection as well. Our only complaint was that the condiments needed to be on a separate plate, but that's no big deal.

Google maps shows the restaurant closes at 9:30, pulled up and half the lights outside were turned off. Called in and was told I could still dine in (I'm 1 person, and already know what I want, so not coming to hang out for an hour).Walk in, and the person at the front tells me they close at 9 so I can't dine in.....some miscommunication going on here

First time I was here, I was with a group of friends and everything was nice - guacamole prepared at our table, waiters’ being nice etc. this time, today, I went there for my birthday with my husband and son and the service couldn’t have been any slower. My wine glass was stained with drop stains (like it wasn’t washed well or dried with a dirty towel). My husband’s fajitas was just microwaved fajita, my guacamole came already made in the kitchen, and they never checked on us while we were eating. And you know, when you tell them that it’s your birthday, they give you a small portion of a dessert as a gesture, but nothing came here. I wish I had gone somewhere much nicer for my birthday, but it is what it is. Two stars only for our server, who was slow but kind.

I usually have an excellent time here, but TONIGHT.. The 1st waiter was slow. Didn't bring water, DIPPED MY CUP in the bucket of mango slurred, so I got a melted watery margarita. Then forgot one order in our party, gave other tables their food and condiments before we got our food and we were there first. I got a second drink it was equally as bad. Then 2nd waitress redeemed their serve. Not sure I would ever go back, but wouldn't recommend it.

We have enjoyed over the last few years having brunch and dinner here. In 2019 and again this year we have enjoyed bringing a group of 25 or more for a Christmas lunch. The restaurant goes above and beyond to accommodate us and provide us a great experience. The back room that they have is fantastic for a group and they again are very accommodating. The drinks and food are fantastic. Thanks again for all you did for us to make our Christmas party memorable.

My family and I stopped in tonight for a quick dinner. We called in advance to make sure they could accommodate a party of 6. It’s a Monday night but still felt we better check. I called and was told we could be seated right away. We were at the restaurant within 10 minutes of calling and we were sat immediately. We placed our drink order and that’s when it started to turn. 14 minutes it took to get water, tea and 2 glasses of wine. After our server dropped off the drinks we ordered a bowl of queso. 10 minutes it took for it to be dropped off which wasn’t bad but it took 10 more to get chips to eat the queso with so as you can imagine, it was ice cold when we got it. We asked for refills that never came. 24 minutes later we finally got to place our food order. The food came out fairly quickly. When it was delivered, we asked for those refills we had never gotten. Yet they never came, we had NO drinks for our meal and no wine that we had ordered. We finished our food and waited 26 minutes with no server and so I went to the hostess stand to request a manager. 14 minutes it took the manager to come to the table after requested. When he did he basically said nothing just stood at the table and looked at me. I explained that I wanted to let him know that we had awful service, maybe he needed to train his other employees to help if they see tables needing things, maybe refill drinks or pre-bus tables. Still said not a word until I said “ we’ll do you have anything to say maybe “sorry you had bad service “ or “we will try to do better” instead he ran my card for the full amount and said have a great night. The server finally came by at the very end to let me know she has just started and was also the bartender and said “ I don’t know”.The part that made me very upset is the manager not being able to properly handle a complaint. As someone that has previously trained employees in the customer service field and now Corp America, I was blown away at the lack of care and lack of trying to make it right! Maybe an apology. I didn’t ask for free food and didn’t expect it, I just wanted the manager to know what went wrong and try and fix it for the reputation of the restaurant. With so many “Mexican food” options on every corner you can’t really give bad service and have a lack of care before it catches up. We won’t be back as there are too many great places around!
