Our family of 4 had dinner here and every dishes is so good. We ordered the clams and mussels as appetizers. The seafood is fresh and the sauce is the bomb. I had the linguine with clams and my husband had chicken parmesan. We were both satisfied. Definitely will come back.
First time there and enjoyed it all! My sister is a fan of Italian food and she approves! I had the Salmon Al Limonne and shared a large Bianca pizza! ? everything was delicious and the calamari was tasty too! Will for sure come back soon. :D
The server Oscar is super sweet, the restaurant gives a very calm and comforting vibe. FOOD IS AMAZING. I’ve come here early in the morning, for brunch, and even dinner but the service is always great no matter what time of day, and food always tastes fresh. They give free garlic knots as the appetizer and they are the best you’ll ever try. If ordering I recommend the margarita pizza or the fettuccine carbonara pasta. Overall my favorite Italian restaurant that never disappoints!
My friend and I had lunch at Amoretto yesterday. We were greeted by a nice young man as he brought a small bowl of red sauce and a plate of garlic knots to our table. He opened our BYOB bottle of wine and provided glasses for us. My friend had Fettuccine Alfredo and I had house made tortellini in pink sauce. Both dishes were served hot and fresh. The Alfredo was a nice consistency. I'm guessing it was made in-house, not from a big warehouse restaurant supply. The pink sauce is a mix of red and Alfredo. It had the perfect amount of cheese to give it a creamy, smooth texture. The house-made tortellini was cooked to perfection and each bite dipped in the sauce made me want another. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food very delicious and I would recommend this restaurant.
Amoretto was, once we found it, our very favorite Italian restaurant! Due to Covid, we have not been there in what seems like forever, so I was thrilled that they answered my phone call tonight, even though they would’ve closed thirty minutes ago! I told them we would be back soon!Everything they serve is outstanding. We have had many of their menu items, all of which are outstanding, but don’t overlook their pizzas, which are also wonderful! This family owned restaurant is small, but the food and the friendly staff are both nothing short of wonderful! Don’t be surprised if the chef is the one who takes your order or personally serves your meal, and checks with you to ensure everything is to your expectations. They are a bit far for us, since we live near the Tollway and the Bush, but it’s worth the extra drive! Now that we know they survived the Covid pandemic, for which we are so grateful, we will be back soon, and often!
Good Italian restaurant which is not chain and relatively small, but far more personal. When it first opened, the garlic twist bread was a gem - fresh and enticing; now it's just meh, like most other restaurants. Thankfully the entrees remain good. But don't know how long that may last as things typically deteriorate, starting with the bread. Oh, the salad also deteriorated - occasionally I got far-from-fresh lettuce.
Definitely a hidden gem in this area. Holy cow, the food was amazing. The options provide a variety but at the same time closer to traditional Italian pasta (baked). Very smooth taste and very filling!
First and last time ordering from here!!!!!! I am highly upset at the service this place does. I didn't even know my order arrived until I heard a noise, looked outside my door and on my porch is a white bag. With hot food, like I specifically noted when placing my order ring doorbell, if you couldn't find my doorbell a quick knock would have been great. I never received service like this before from any other restaurant. Then you can see from the photos the spaghetti is dry!!! The bread was not wrapped up or even toasted. I am glad I kept my tip money cause the delivery driver didn't earn nothing... I want a refund and I will continue to go to Joe's pizza and pasta!!! Or take my behind to the store and make my own Italian dinner with seasoning and lots of sauce. And those meatballs are store bought...
I thought I would try something new for a change instead of a chain pizza place. Guess I was wrong. I would not order from this place again. The simple cheese pizza had no flavoring and the cheese was just thrown on all over the place. The bread i ordered was not wrapped in foil or anything to make sure it stayed fresh and not contaminated. I ordered Alfredo sauce and got a small portion of that and it was so runny that we ended up throwing it away and again no garlic flavor at all. The fettuccine carbonara I ordered for 11.95 was very small portion and paid extra for extra mushrooms. I could tell this was not done. The Cannoli was small as well. I would say this place is not worth what I paid. Then the driver could not find my apartment so food arrived cold. She said I needed to come down and get my food and I said no I paid for delivery. She continued to argue with me until I told her just take my food back. Then she said i will bring it to you. I suggest hiring a driver that knows the area and is friendly instead of using Delivery services. They don’t reflect well on your business.
We are from Oklahoma and wanted some real Italian food and let me tell you this place was amazing the Alfredo sauce tasted fresh garlic knots was perfect! when we come back to Texas this will be a have to stop by!
