After hearing over and over that Eddie's had the best tacos I was driving by yesterday and decided to give them a try. Man was I hungry so I ordered 3 tacos went home and took a bite...crunchy egg shell after crunchy egg shell for 3 bites straight. Threw that one away hesitatedto eat yhe next but they turned out ok. Kind of a disappointment after all the hype I heard. I was looking foward to good tacos that day. Maybe I should try the lunch next time.
This one is on veterans. This is great home cooking Mexican food. The chili rellano is huge. Red and green sauce is served separate and at the table. The green is hot and the red is mild. Came with the best rice and beans I've had since being in San Diego. The enchiladas were just as good. Yes, they speak English and can help you order. Very clean. You will enjoy!
They need to update drive thru menu board pricing. Fajita tacos are excellent. Picked up food at drive thru.
Okay so recommendations were spot on. These tacos were amazing. I made it just in time to get me some tacos. The cashier was superb and helpful as she served me up two tacos the way she normally orders. Now I'm not picky but she had some good taste. The tacos didn't even make it home. I just wish they were open later as I'd eat here more often. Thank you Eddie's puro amor
Used the drive thru. The entrance is no longer on Sugar Rd. You enter the drive thru from FM 495. Just needed a quick bite. The fajita taco was excellent; at around $4 it is filled with plenty of meat unlike Stripes' tacos. Wait time was as expected since they are putting your order together as you place it. Friendly service at the window. I would recommend this place.

Worse tacos ive had.... no toppings at all, no lemons and dryyyyyyy tortillas af,Disappointing.
It would help if their flour tortillas were homemade!
