Had lunch at Delia's, we ordered the half dozen chicken and cheese tamales, pork tamales and sweet cream tamales. Our favorite was the chicken and cheese with the spicy salsa, delicious. We decided to buy 10 dozen to bring to our family in Louisiana, they will love them. If and when we visit our families in the Rio Grande we will be sure to make a special stop at Delia's. Worth the time to stop, they tasted as good as my Mom's.

We ordered about 15 dozen assorted tamales. We haven’t tried them all yet, but the ones we have tried are delicious. The place is clean, and the service is great.
I don't go through McAllen without stopping at Delia's. Even if I'm not hungry then, I'll take them for lunch the next day or even onto the plane for my wife back home. Spicy chicken and cheese is my favorite. The big salsa is with paying extra for.
what the hell happened to the tamales? I heard they got bought out and the recipe changed. these are not the tamales I loved. they suck!!! no flavor...dry...and the Maza is waaaaaay off
Picked up for family and staff was friendly and the language barrier was interesting but successful. Love these tamales as they were moist and was well balanced with filling. Will return when we get the craving. Got chicken in green sauce and masa wasn't dry like the regular pork.
Tamales was dry... bought 5 dozens, asked to put extra red n green sauce and they claimed ithey did put in extra sauce Guess what their idea of extra sauce is 1 sauce per 1 dozen...liars..... tamales is not even good.... I’ve tasted better tamales ..... and they skimp on sauces.....if I can give 0 star i will buy there’s no option for that...

Great tasting tamales. Staff was very helpful and polite. It does get a little crowded during lunch hours, usually between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Holidays are also busy, so an ahead. If you are from out of town, I do recommend trying these tamales.
