Great place to eat Delicious
We have been here a few times since moving here from the East Coast 3 months ago. Almost every time we have went it was extremely good! The only reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is the waiter/waitress we have had.The first waiter we had kinda seemed new. I told him it was my boyfriends birthday and he said "Oh I gotcha" and that was it. He never asked if he wanted a birthday dessert, offered to sing, or even wish him happy birthday.The second time we went the waitress took forever coming back to our table. She put in the wrong chicken with our steak and it came out with all this sauce all over it all. We had to send it back 3 times. They did eventually get it right, but I was completely done and we had our check before his even came back out which was super disappointing.Since then we haven't been back. We were hoping to give them some time to maybe get more experience before we came back.
Jacob was an attentive and very efficient waiter. He was on top of everything. We went on May 29th around noon and the wait time was short even though the place was packed. The salad was fresh and the country fried steak was huge! It almost covered the plate! Yes!!! The food had the flavor profile that I was hoping for. No bland food there!!!
Was told 30 to 40 minute wait. After 48 minutes later I proceeded to go to check in counter to see what was taking long. When I asked the lady who was very rude from the start tell me it’s another 5 to 10 minute wait time. I’m okay with waiting another 5 to 10 minutes and my wife was already sitting on benches inside with my kids so I walk and briefly sit down with my wife to let her know then the lady proceeds to yell at me sir you need to go outside. I’m like give me a second I’m talking to my wife then she said sir please wait outside like in front of everyone. I was completely embarrassed for myself and my family while everyone was staring at us. I’ve been coming to this location for years and never had this type of humiliation. I don’t plan on coming back!!
Was a little frustrated that they say other parties (same size parties) before us that we were told were on the line after us. It's like the were holding a specific table for us and not the next available that fit us. After bringing this to their attention, we were told the system crashed and they couldn't remember ? another 20 min and they sat us and gave us a free appetizer. Which was great because our kids were beyond hungry and freaking asleep at the table. Food was good. Service was good considering they were slammed. Even walking down isles wasn't possible. Amazing it wasn't over fire code ??
A bit disappointed. My family and I stopped by to have a good meal. We ordered steaks. I ordered my steak mid rare. I get a piece leather instead of a steak. I brought it up to our waitress and she looked at me with this confused look and said "I'm sorry, I let the cook know". Never heard anything back from our waitress. She brought the ticket and said have a good evening.
Better than I expected! Met some friends here for dinner and the food was good and the steak was cooked well. Our server Faith was amazing. She handled our busy table well and was very attentive. She also took the time to ask the cooks about an ingredient in a salad dressing for me. She made dining out at a chain restaurant a much better experience than it normally is in these times.
Great food, great price. Expect to wait an hour plus on a Friday evening, but it was definitely worth bit.
