First time dining at this establishment. The ambiance and decor is pretty unique. The chips and salsas were good. We especially enjoyed the green sauce - an avocado salsa, maybe? The red salsa was just spicy enough, and delicious. The food was quite alright, but a bit more bland than expected. I had the chile relleno with ground beef, and I added some of the red salsa on top for some extra flavor.I ordered charro beans, and was served refried. No biggie, we just asked again for the charro - but it never arrived. Our server wasn’t super attentive, but she was kind and sweet. Most likely she was a little stressed, and possibly overworked (as the restaurant business seems to be these days, anyway). All in all we had a good time, and we will come back with our kids and grandkid, and try some other dishes sometime.
It’s terrible how bad this place was. We had never been there before despite growing up in pflugerville, so we wanted to try it. Worst decision ever. First, I do want to say that our WAITOR was absolutely amazing and nothing that happened was his fault at all. When we got there, there was only one other table. We ordered queso to start. It was cold. How on earth is queso cold? I’ve worked at many restaurants. It should be in a warmer... We got our food probably an hour after we got there. And it was all cold. I ordered a burrito. The cheese inside was still shredded and clumped together. It wasn’t even melted. Every single one of us had all our sides missing. The waiter said the cook claimed they were out… which makes NO sense on a Saturday at noon, before any rush. We had three tables that came in after us and got their food before us. The waiter was running around to about ten tables by the end of it, alone, even though there were four other waitresses walking around. The waiter went and told the manager what was happening. Instead of coming and talking to us, he took FOUR dollars off of a NINETY dollar bill. We went up to the manager asking how four dollars covered all the missing food. He claimed it did. It definitely did not. The manager refused to speak to us or do what he should have done. He made us pay for sides we didn’t get. Multiple people leaving by around the same time as us were also angrily complaining when they left. It’s safe to say the manager doesn’t care one bit about the restaurant, the customers, or that waiter. We made sure to tip the waiter in cash and tell him to put it directly in his pocket so nobody else gets a share, and apologized to him for how terrible his cook and manager are. The situation is flat out despicable. We will definitely never be going back, and I hope the restaurant owner realizes the manager is running their business to the ground. I tried to get a picture of the manager as I walked out, being most places have more than one manager.

Tried fried avocado with beef today and nachos. Good food, great selection.
This was my first time to eat here this what I experienced: after sitting for, what seemed to be at least 10-15 minutes, without being approached, a family of 7 was sat down. The waiter immediately attended them, which was good, but no one acknowledged me. I got up I told the waitress at the computer, “If no one attends me in the next 60 seconds I’m walking out”. She looked at me funny, maybe because I interrupted her focus. She said okay. I waited exactly 60 after that and walked out.I will never go back and do not recommend this restaurant if you walk-in alone. You may get better service if you go in with another 6 people, their gratuity is better.
My friend held her husband's memorial service dinner here of about 10 people here because it was one of her and her husband's favorite restaurants. Not sure why but the service for our table was exceptionally slow.. We were seated, around 4:40pm with about 9 other tables occupied 1/3 capacity) and our server came after about 10 mins yo take our drink orders. About 4 of us ordered drinks from the bar at this time. About 15 mins later they finally brought the chips and salsa out but left again. Then came back with sodas and being told that the bar was working on the 4 drinks and the server left again. Finally another server came with the drinks from the bar, one was made wrong. An additional 20 mins elapsed during this time. Then our server came to ask if we were ready to order appetizers, at this time we had been waiting almost 30 mins and we were ready to order food when our chips arrived. Everyone ordered their food, with queso appetizers at the same time. Another almost 20 mins when our food started to arrive, it was delivered by another server. My husband and I didn't get our food until and 10 mins later (2 fajita chicken quesadillas) and they messed up on ours by taking everything off both instead of leaving it on one only. Also, 2 of the bean orders were wrong. Everyone ate, finished their food, with everyone but my husband getting a drink refill (dr.pepper). Then as the servers cleared the table, we waited for our server to give us our checks..and we waited... Nearly 10 mins and then we asked about our checks again. The server started printing them out and fixing them to reflect what each group ate/drank on individual tickets. After about 10 mins we finally got to paid our checks and left. 440pm-645pm. We saw 7 other tables of 2-8 people come in after us, be served, and checked out before us. Food was good (albeit a bit expensive for the size) and servers were polite. Restrooms were clean. Also, the manager did come out to help at the front end for a bit and their phone kept ringing off the hook with it not being answered hardly at all. Never seen a restaurant be this slow and inefficient. The way it's supposed to go is: seated by hostess with menus, silverware, chips and salsas already on table, server right there (especially for large groups) to welcome, take drink and appetizer orders (meal orders if ready), bring drinks and appetizers out, take meal orders, refill drinks and chips while waiting on meals, bring out meals (with help) and serve, bring out anything missing and refill drinks, check on everyone and meals, offer desserts and/or checks if people are ready. Easy, efficient.
The food wasn't as great as I thought, but the entertainment was awesome!!!!! That gentleman is very talented with the guitar. I would definitely return for the music!!
I ordered the Grilled Quail and had it delivered from doordash. It wasn't just a little pink but it's completely raw. I lost my appetite after seeing this.
Don’t. Just don’t. Seriously don’t. I assure you the following is true, and not exaggerating. Look, staff was friendly, but this place is so disgusting I would’ve walked out if it wasn’t a work party. Literally old diahrrea on the restroom walls- yes multiple walls somehow, tons of graffiti, and all sorts of nasty going on in the restroom, and you know if a restaurant can’t keep a restroom clean, god have mercy if you eat their food. But unfortunately I did. This food is extremely boring and overpriced. It doesn’t taste bad but it doesn’t taste good. It doesn’t taste fresh which makes it confusing how it takes forever. It costs way too much which makes it all the more disappointing. Table of 14 or so, every face at the table had that look of regret when they took a bite. Hope they did better than me, ended up on the toilet a few hours later, and I can tell you it had nothing to do with being spicy or seasoning because this place doesn’t have either. Margarita is good- maybe get only that.
Lunch was very delicious. Atmosphere very nice and service great. I had shrimp enchiladas, the guys had chimichangas, and the kids geisidias.
