Let me start off by saying I ordered catering the day before. I ordered for about 20 people. We selected Curry Goat, Jerk Chicken, and Oxtails. We had the rice and peas, plantains, and veggies. I arrived to pick it up and they were patiently waiting for me. They placed the double wrapped trays in the back of my car for me as well. The food was a hit and several asked me where I got the food from. They will be saved if I ever need them again. In my opinion way better than MOST. I have tried them all.

My very first 1* ever, soryyyy. Food was just Ok. The reason why I gave 1* is bkz they overcharged us beside that I asked in advance how much is the MP for the Salmon, same thing happen with the Chicken dish again was added an extra $$. They will just ask you to pay without telling how much it is … so my suggestion is to request for the receipt before you swipe your card.

I was really looking forward to trying some Jamaican food especially being a new resident here…. unfortunately I’m very disappointed. I ordered the ox tail plate with rice and peas, a side of jerk chicken and two Jamaican patties. The ox tails tasted old and were tough, the rice was hard, and there was no sauce in the plate at all. I’m not sure if this is how they normally make their plates but I’ve had oxtail plates that are full of flavor, tender and enough sauce for both the meat as well as the rice and peas. Sad to say I don’t think I’ll be eating here again. Smh

Been coming here for the past two years. Best Jamaican food in town ! Great customer service and most importantly consistency!! Only complaint bring the cabbage back.

Island Fork is a fairly new Caribbean place in Pflugerville cooking up some amazing dishes. My favorite was this Goat Curry. Mark is the owner and runs the show here along with his family. This comes with a side of rice with kidney beans and steamed cabbage. I loved the rice, the beans “rajma” as we call it, is my favorite beans. I even really liked the cabbage and it is my least favorite veggie. The cabbage has some seasoning that makes it delicious. But the prized item on this plate is the goat curry. Mark home makes his curry, grounds and makes a paste out of individual ingredients. The curry has more of an Indian flavor to it, which I love. I highly recommend this dish.

Nice Jamaican restaurant, atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect. The food is delicious! Just enough heat for some flavor, portions were decent. Tastes like a delicious hone cooked meal. Staff was friendly and helpful. We’ll go again.

The food was very delicious and authentic. Everyone that is even within earshot range of this lovely establishment should go here at least 3 times a week. I had both the oxtails and the goat and they were delicious. Trust me you won't be let down. If you're from the Caribbean you must try this place. All Is Well

Food is very delicious and fresh made! Lots of great flavors

Has potential. My meal had curry chicken (mostly small bones) and pasta. Offering additional curry on the side would be nice. Plantains were good. Will make another visit for the jersey chicken.

Food is very delicious and fresh made! Lots of great flavors
