First time to dine at this place. There is a nice atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. There are options for everyone on the menu. I was looking to enjoy some scallops, but there were not on the menu. I enjoyed Firecracker Shrimp. They were delicious, could use a little spice for my taste. I also ordered the Grilled Shrimp meal. It came with French fries. I should have ordered some Hush Puppies. Would have been a better pair. The Manager came by the table to check up on us. Very good service and delicious food. I only gave it a 4-Star due to the ladies bathroom. It was not truly clean. I would recommend this place.
Great food, great service and great prices! We loved it so much that we went back two nights in a row! We were in town for a baseball tournament and not really familiar with Pflugerville. I read some reviews about this place and decided to try out. I'm so very glad that we did. :)
Been here a few times with family. We have ordered a variety of food and have generally been impressed. The salmon, steak, and catfish are our favorites - well-flavored and well-cooked. We have been recommended the fish tacos and feel it's important to note they are actually wraps; they are still good, but definitely not what you think you are ordering. Biggest complaint is the music - it is always loud, causing diners to have to be loud and making it impossible to speak to and hear those with hearing difficulties.
I came in on a Saturday simply wanting a steak and a good night with friends. However, I became completely charmed by the warm atmosphere, from the fine decor to the friendly waiters and waitresses. And the food, fantastic is all I can say about their sirloin steak. Their firecracker shrimp was definitely among my top five shrimp dishes of all time.Their prices are also incredibly affordable. I mean, $18 10oz steak!? In this economy!? I've seen plenty of restaurants serve the same for twice that amount.Lastly, one of the co-owners of this branch, Lisa, came to our table and had a conversation with us. It's the first time I've talked with such a down-to-earth restaurant owner. She was very nice to talk to, and I could really feel her attention to keeping the price-point down to make regulars and first time consumers alike feel at ease to just enjoy a meal and have a good time.For sure, I'll be back again. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a great meal experience.
Our first time at FD Grill House was very pleasant. The dining area is very open, the menu extensive, service outstanding and the food was very good.
Absolutely amazing salmon, and all food items were fresh. Actually I was pleasantly surprised on fresh ingredients and quality. I traveled around the world and ate fresh salmon in places where fish markets are nearby such as Tokyo and New York. Their salmon melted in my mouth. The last time I got this freshness, high quality, and buttery taste was when I dined in an upscale sushi restaurant in Southern California. They have a secret steamed yellow tail cheeks. It is ver hard to get and expensive. Different fish but I got the same quality for very low price. My husband had ribs. They were good, but ok according to him. Shrimp was good but a little on overcooked side. I loved their simple coleslaw. So I recommend salmon. Also the owner came out to talk to us. Definitely added a nice touch to our dining experience.
We were just driving through trying to find something for dinner when we stumbled upon this gem! There's really not words to describe how amazing every single thing we tried was! Like melt in your mouth amazing! It's like they poured Love into every dish. On top of that the owner stopped by our table and chatted with us for a while. Lisa is the absolute sweetest host. We will definitely be back! It's our new fave spot. If you're looking for heaven, this is it! Bonus, the prices are insanely good! Thank you so much for an amazing meal. We will be back as many times as possible.
The experience start with the hosting staff. Even for a fairly busy Friday evening they quickly sat our party. The waitress introduced herself and gave us the specials. I asked for recommendations and she without hesitation gave us her favorites from the menu. The steak I got was cut to perfection. The key lime pie really finished off the meal. The friendliness extended all the way to us leaving.

It was our first time dining here last night and we were surprise how amazing the place was. From the phone call when I made the reservation and the moment we step in the restaurant,it was an experience! It has a different vibe which felt so friendly and welcoming. It's like you visited a friends home. The experience was genuine from talking to the owners plus a great service from our server. We really enjoy everything about it! We will surely come back and share this to all our friends.
