I normally don’t write reviews but tonight made me frustrated enough where I wanted to write a review and I hope the store manager sees this. I stopped by after 7pm for takeout (05/29) and saw that it was taking some time at the counter. No matter, then I saw the line behind me grow longer and saw that there was only one employee taking orders and filling them. There was another employee fulfilling delivery orders on the side and another employee cooking in the kitchen. There was a cashier who later went to schmooze in the back of the kitchen with two other employees - one who was slowly filling sauce containers and another carrying extra containers to the front - also slowly. There was one employee who was dancing in front of the time clock to leave, with what seemed like the others cheering them on.The most utilized employee was the one feverishly filling orders diligently, and taking extra time to check on fresher lettuce in the fridge for a customer who saw the lettuce was old in the existing fridge. I was impressed by this employee but also felt a lot of sympathy for why she was working alone when I normally see two workers handling the food orders - understaffed like everywhere else. But the biggest concern was why the employees were not really offering to jump in - all hands on deck when dinner time rush was clearly filling up the store- check the camera footage and see the cashier rushing back to the kitchen to talk with the sauce filler employee and schmooze while there are customers waiting at the cash register. I later see this employee happily grab their bag and clock out. What a shame - the food is good and I think that employee working alone should be given a raise.
We walked in and ordered to go. The establishment was clean, and staff mostly friendly. However this location was out of the normal fresh greens used for salads, and they were also out of sour cream. I'm unsure how that happens at such an early hour, but understandably, things happen. That being said, the restaurant was unwilling to replace the unavailable sour cream with avocado for the inconvenience. I wasn't willing to make a stink about it with my child at my side, but that's not great customer service. I think from now on I'll happily take my business elsewhere local, where the ingredients are fresher, and customer service is front of mind.
I'm a big fan of Chipotle but I wanted to post this rating and message to encourage y'all to do your best to avoid going there the after 9:00 on a Friday...That late in the day means they were out of a few key items and the rice that was available is best described as mush.Moving forward, I'll stick to either the lunch or dinner hours to be safe.
I really don't know where to begin. I love Chipotle Mexican grill; it is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the experience and being able to create my own dish. But when I walked into this location it did not feel like any previous Chipotle Mexican grill experience. My first thing was to go into bathroom to wash my hands. I was a little bit concerned when the soap dispenser did not work. I went to go get assistance from a worker and their response was "it's broken". Moments later there was a sign on the door but the restroom was out of order. But the restroom was still open for use. That was a major concern because how are employees washing their hands? We were directed to just use hand sanitizer. That should have flag a concern for me to leave however there is a sink with soap and hand sanitizer behind the staff workstation. I had two options to use the men's room to wash my hand or to wash my hands with hot water and hand sanitizer. The ordering process was pretty much the a great experience. The person who fixed my bowl was extremely friendly and considerate with my menu selections. The cashier was kind of disapproving when I mentioned that we were dining in instead of taking out as she was begging her food. She unbagged her food and left it on the countertop. She seemed preoccupied and annoyed. The pictures speaks for itself as far as the environment. There was not a clean table in sight. We had to clean our own tables. When I asked for soap and a rag to clean the table the worker looked at me as if they couldn't understand what I was requesting. They said they didn't have one. I went to the restrooms and got paper towels and hand sanitizer and soap to clean the tables so that we were able to dine in.It wasn't necessarily a busy time of the day, but there was a constant flow. There were a couple of workers that were standing around. Clearly someone could have cleaned off the tables so that the customers would have a clean place to sit and eat. Before we left we made sure our area was clean so that someone would be able to come and sit in our area. The food was good. They were running out of everything - guacamole, chips and queso. The chips were not fresh which was disappointing. I look forward to the chips and queso and the flavored teas and lemonades every time I visit a Chipotle.Chipotle Mexican grill will always be on my radar whenever, wherever I travel because I really enjoy the experience. This particular location definitely needs help or management to intervene. ??
Inside starting to feel less clean, often trash on the floor, cup lids and napkins. My last three orders have been wrong - missing things even when available, sometimes what looks like a half order, food spilled inside the bag.Certain staff seems good so not sure if a few bad staff members, inadequate staffing, poor management, or what. This location used to feel well run and efficient. If you have the time, probably best to order in store instead of ahead, although there's been a time where a sign was on the door saying online orders only?
Ordered online ready for 9 didn’t get the food out until 9:50 because they were waiting on steak, yet all the food was cold anyhow. The manager was just walking around on her phone. This place is wild.
Each time I place an app order from this branch they always mess up my order, never fails.Just picked up my order and again they forgot another order I already paid for. Good thing I checked my order to make sure everyone gets a bowl for dinner before I left. Girl from the register looks annoyed that I had to remind her that I was missing another bowl. No apologies or anything from this woman. Note to branch manager. Please DO better on customer service. Train your people well.
Pflugerville location is the worst location in America. All the meats, Pinto beans and white rice dried out.
Does this store have management? Do they look at reviews and work on repairing mistakes for a better customer service experience?...BTW I'm a manager and a corporate rep.....I ate at this Chipotle in Pflugerville twice. The first time I got an upset stomach. Both times something was missing, attitudes are bad, (I get it even I hate my job some days but I don't take it to customers) rice is undercooked, when you ask for specifics they don't listen, something is out gotta wait for it, they pour Pico on tacos without draining the liquid makes soggy mess, chips are salty and stale... like seriously I get it times are hard now, life is different but compared to the Chipotles I've ate in the past month this one needs a major overhaul. It's one of minor options for semi non super greasy fattening food but guess this one will be out the directory too. Even my coworkers agree after eating here also. Hopefully management will step in and fix it or eventually im sure it will eventually go to doors closing.
Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Through Door Dash I ordered a chicken salad and my husband ordered a burrito bowl. My salad had zero lettuce. It’s literally a bowl of toppings (that are cold), and there was no dressing in the bag. My husband ordered lettuce and fajita veggies with his bowl and received neither. We also ordered a large queso and chips and the bag of chips is only slightly larger than the size of my fist. I called the store and the young lady I spoke with was very understanding and apologetic, and gave me a refund, which I do appreciate. That being said, it might be a good idea to call the customer when you’re out of something instead of making a decision for them. We aren’t so unreasonable that if there are supply chain issues and/or staffing shortages things may not go as planned, but the communication was totally missing here and now I’m eating a bowl of cold toppings (and it’s not even all of them).
