I ordered some lunch shrimp and lobster sauce. I couldn't believe what it looked like. Won't describe it, don't want to make anyone vomit. Anyways I will never return..I asked the guy to change my food he said he couldn't because he didn't want to lose money..I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Told me to take it home and give it to someone..I will never eat at this restaurant ever again..not because of the food, but the customer service was the worst ever.. don't waste your money food is so so salty
Totally skipped the right amount of seasonings. Salt and pepper shrimp had doughy crust on it and sprinkled with pepper (should have been sauteed shrimp). Egg drop soup had a bacon aftertaste and the wonton soup was more like boullon with two folded noodles with micro meat in them. I had to mix both soups together (didn't help much). I'm sad I couldn't eat any of it. Wasted my money for sure.
I ordered food from China Dragon for delivery Thursday (4/14/22) night. It was bad. I don't even mind the expense when the food is edible. I ordered General Tso chicken and the chicken was tough. Some pieces I couldn't swallow. I ended up throwing a lot of it away. I was very disappointed. I ordered from there because of the high ratings and regrettably I am out $68 and nothing good to say.
Oh, man. This was rough. I don't have real high expectations of chinese food joints, especially when they deliver. But every single thing we got was stale, flavorless, and WRECKED our stomachs. General Tso's chicken was rock hard, overdone, very little sauce in the container. The shrimp lo mein had decent shrimp, but overall lacked favor. I LOVE crab puffs, I don't even care how basic they are, but these tasted old and hurt to even chew. Egg rolls were okay, but just like every other dish we ordered, two bites in and our stomachs were cramping. Major hangover feeling the next morning, just from the few bites of these meals I could handle the night before. Bummer!
I honestly will avoid this place like the plague. You have to order some secret way if you want it to be contactless, idk how. The food was late, cold, stale, bland, etc. Delivered about 45 minutes after they closed and didn't call until they got to my door, at which point I had already started cooking.
I've gone to this restaurant since childhood but after today I will never be going back. I ordered take-out and as I was eating my food I noticed a little live spider crawling inside my to-go box of food. I took it back to them and showed them and asked for a refund and they refused to refund it. Said that spider must have come from my car. Really?? Little spiders like that get inside houses or other buildings (like their restaurant) not inside cars and I know it wouldn't have ended up inside my car. I keep it super clean. Anyways, I no longer trust that they are being clean and they refused accountability over this disgusting episode with the food they gave me in that to-go box and were very rude. Don't recommend them.
Sorry to say but this place was not good at all. Egg drop soup was bland, we had to add salt. Egg rolls were so old and cabbage smelt so bad we had to toss, and the chicken was okay, but very little portions. So disappointed and will not return. Wish there was good Chinese food in Roundrock and pflugerville, still on the search.
The egg rolls cost too much ($2.00 per roll for a tiny little egg roll) and the hot & sour soup is mostly just broth. I expect to see some chunks of tofu, black mushrooms and shredded water chestnuts. No such luck! But overall, the food tasted good and the service was excellent. I’ll go back but only because its close.
I will never order from this place again got charged delivery fee did not tip the driver I figured the delivery fee was for the driver but to have the driver confront me on why I didn't tip especially on a service that I've already paid for. Never in my 50yrs have i been confronted about a tip. Wow times are changing
