Spur of the moment decision to eat here.Glad we did. Hubs and I agreed that it was kind of like a Hooters but WWII themed with MUCH better food. All the items are named circa World War 2: “Bayonettes” were the pickle spears, my husband got a “Sherman’s Cheese Steak” (an amazing Philly, chock-full of beef and peppers, with the perfect melted provolone cover), and I got the “Pin-Up Girl” a delicious salad overloaded with pecans, blue cheese crumbles, tart cranberries, fresh greens and tomatoes, and topped with grilled chicken. The Raspberry dressing was very good. They originally brought me the Bombshell (a Southwestern style salad with black beans, corn, and avocado) and were happy to switch it for the Pin-up I’d ordered with no problem. Our server was super nice.I was not prepared for the “skirts” and “half-tops” that the girls were wearing, however, and was a bit taken aback.I’m glad I didn’t look at reviews first bc I would’ve missed a fabulous meal with a great server.
The Bombshell was recommended to me by a co-worker that visited them when he was in Austin for work, I liked it! It has a good atmosphere with friendly staff, good drinks, and the food is tasty too. The only thing that was a downer was the inflammation hit the prices took but other than that it was a good experience. ?
The Mexican martini ?The chicken nachos, they give you a whole lot, enough for 2 whole ppl ?? but the chicken was too hard though. We went for the boxing so whenever it's crowded be prepared to request whatever you ask for 2-3x. I like the atmosphere. No social distancing or covid precautions that I could see, I think I was the only person who kept a mask on, I only took it off to eat & drink then put it right back on in between drinking. Staff was nice as well ??
First Visit. ? Did not know places where smoking was allowed still existed. That was a shocker because I have sensitivities and allergies towards any kind of smoke. ?We sat on the patio so I was still able to enjoy my evening. I wasn't sure what to eat or what to drink. The server was amazing with helping me with my order. The strawberry daiquiri was out of this world; the chicken, I don't even know the name of it but it was amazing. Had great flavor. The sweet potato french fries, I haven't had those in such a long time. They were a real treat.I was told when you go to a place like this with a guy that the guy has a hard time keeping his eyes off the wait staff. That was not my issue. My date was completely tuned into me and we had a really good time. The only reason for me not to return would be because of the smoking environment. Other than that everything was great.

Great customer service. Food was amazing. Nice and clean. Only had one cook working so took longer then I had to time wait for dessert. But overall had a great time!
The food is good. Lots of menu options. Several war memorabilia on display. Was not aware of the waitress's uniforms before going. Didn't bother me but might others.
Bombshells is the place to be for good food, drinks, and watching sports on multiple televisions. The waitresses are nice and friendly. Bombshells is the location for my Wife and I to watch UFC Pay Per View fights.
2/13/22, Today was my first time at Bombshells. Our waitress said she was a fan of the wings so I ordered 10 and the Recruit burger. While the food was on par with normal bar food, the Service, was outstanding. ASHLEY (Table 31, at 14:05).... Some of the friendliest, most professorial service over had in a while. Often times, places where pretty women wear a little less, they feel they can get away with poor service. Even though I wasn't a huge fan of the food, I'd come back for the service!
Amazing people & atmosphere was so cool with real ww2 memorabilia. The pizza is delicious, we ordered the "fat man" & only ate half cause it was huge. I will definitely be back soon
