If i could give no stars i would. Went here about a month ago with my sister. We were craving something sweet and we had walked to this location since we parked in the strip center near it. As we approached the door we realized it wouldnt open. There was a paper on the door saying that they had new hours and now close the lobby at 6:30pm (it was 5:30pm when we arrived) there was a lady in there who told us to walk through the drive thru which i wasnt gonna do and since i wasnt she refused to open the door for us because she closed the lobby early. And then proceeded to sit there and fold her arms at us and look at us like we were crazy. Me and my sister gave up and decided to never come to this location again. We went to smoothie king instead and i asked the lady in there if they close their lobby earlier than they are supposed to just because your the only person there. She said they did and would also have customers go through the drive thru only. I dont appreciate that answer or that form of solution. If your the only employee the manager on shift should help instead of sit in the back ( which is what the one at shipleys did because the lady that mean mugged us kept turning her head as if she were talking to someone behind her) And even if its just the employee simply dont have them work alone in a busniess that has high points of business for its not fair to both the employee and the people waiting. Never going to this location again, service sucked, attitudes were ugly, and there needs to be a better solution than just one employee and one manager on shift cause its not working.
Their glazed donuts are not as hot and fresh as they used to be when I pick up at 7:00 AM.Update: I went back this morning(2/20) and ordered a dozen glazed donuts and they weren't even a little warm! That was my last time visiting this location!
Very good donuts and kolaches.Fresh and hot.The employees are so nice, especially the one who works the window always sweet and pleasant.This my grandsons favorite glazed with blue icing. Prices are reasonable.
Shipley’s is my favorite and I was so happy to not have to drive to Ella for my fix but I was wrong. The kolaches are overcooked, hard, the dough used is odd, and the donuts are usually cold. I’ve visited this location at different times the last few years and it’s always been subpar. I will stick with the Ella location until I find a better one.
Love those warm glazed donuts. My favorite is the cinnamon twist. Also love the cake donut options. And let's not forget the kolaches!
I tried to pre-order donuts for my daughter's birthday celebration at school. The employee, who people have been describing as angry was there. The woman told me she could not speak English. I told her I could not communicate in Spanish. The odd thing is she continued to speak to me in Spanish. I told her I could call my husband, because he is much more fluent than me. She pretty much ignored me and continued to speak to me in Spanish. I tried to understand what she was saying then realized this is crazy. How is the owner or manager able to run a business with an employee, who cannot communicate with English speaking customers? There should be another person there with her to help. This place is always empty, and I am surprised they are still open. I went to the Shipley's in ShadowCreek in Pearland on FM 518 in the same shopping center where Circle K has station is located.
My favorite donut and kolache stop. They did not disappoint. Walked right in and line moved fast.

Not wearing a mask in the drive thru or gloves. I won't return.
