I just had the most rude and disgusting experience at this Salata and what makes me so disappointed is that I come here all the time and I’ve never experienced being treated this way. With such disregard for customer service or concern. I was just here over the weekend and complimented a young lady (she was young and AA) about how she makes my salads. So I ordered today in the store, Check #90 ordered at 1:34pm 5/31/22… I asked the young lady at the front for salata mix and spinach on a regular salad. She literally gave me 2 small scoops of salata mix and one very small scoop of spinach. When I asked for more spinach, she placed one spinach leave on the salad. When I asked for more spinach again, she placed TWO small leaves on the salad. Her co-worker looks over and begins laughing. I saw nothing funny. She then tells me, she didn’t want to make it too big because it won’t close but I didn’t think serving me child like portions and a 3 leaves when I asked for more was appropriate or comical. Then she grabs the bowl and asks me what else I would like. I finished my salad cause I didn’t have time on my break to stop elsewhere but going forward I won’t be returning to this location. That was tasteless and a ghetto experience. The young lady at the end who checked me out was nice.
I normally eat Salata at least 2 times a week. I haven't been there in a while due to busy schedule and limited tie. I will normally get it delivered to my job, since it is so hard to get away. I had a bad experience with Door Dash delivering my meal 2 weeks ago. It was no fault of the Salata store, but the wonderful Manager in charge(Ms. Zulema)really took ownership and made up for the mess up that their third party delivery service caused. I came in today as she had requested, and she covered my entire meal over, after she had refunded the first amount from 2 weeks ago. This is going above and beyond as most food establishments look to move on to the next customer, versus retaining the ones they already have. I was well pleased and will continue to make this one of my go to for lunch. Thank you Ms. Zeluma !!
The last 4 times I have been here the service has not been good. I always purchase 5 salads as I have a big family and spend well over $50 every time and the salad sizing has gotten to where I would rather buy a small salad at the grocery store for $5 instead of spending $15 on the same size salad.The middle aged lady at the front of the line is trying to make to go orders as well as make regular orders at the same time and she is not able to multi task well. She is constantly putting the wrong items in the wrong bowls or containers AND she only puts 1/4 spoon of every ingredient in the bowl. She literally put 3 green peas and two bean sprouts on my daughters salad and when asked for more, she looked lost and told us that they were out?? She did this on every last salad we made. We were all left hungry after this meal including my 10y/o daughter.This has consistently happened over the last 7 months at this location. I visit several other locations regularly as I travel around Houston for work and never been dissatisfied with the portion size vs the price.I was hoping this would be addressed over time and work itself out since others have left reviews stating the same, but I guess management has yet to address the issue.For now I’ll spend my money elsewhere. A shame, because my family and I really love the chain.
I eat at this location almost 5 days a week for lunch. I"m always met with outstanding customer service which makes my eating experience that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this establishment to anybody who wants a healthy meal. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff always makes the salads deliciously.
Really going downhill. The food stations are very dirty. I get if it was the lunch rush but it was 3pm when I went. And they must be short staffed, based on how the lines were going (there was a family of three in front of me) but we all walked in at the same time and no one was in line but it still took 15 minutes for us to get to the cashier. I've loved the salad options but will avoid this location for a while.
The location is very understaffed . There is one employee that starts off the bowls. As she’s preparing your bowl she cleans off the surface of the salad bar by putting spilled veggies back into the serving container. Sometime even mixing the food. Myself And the others in line notices this too. This location is not clean and the results of that we ended up severely sick throughout the night.
My first time there was Sunday March 27,2022 I was in amazement of all the different things you can pick out. The salad was so good the service was excellent. An I am an ice lover so the drinks were amazing. Today is Thursday the 31 of March an I have been back there 4 times I just can't get enough. An I love how you can get points I will Recommend Salata to my friends an family
Hair in Food!!!!Poor Customer Service and major Health Code issues. This location needs major HELP! Several issues over the last week. I normally order ahead and still have to wait until all employees are ready to address the Togo customers. Then wait to have my and other customers to go order made. After waiting for customers who came in much after the fact. Salad was prepared wrong on another day. Repeatedly told, “I understand” from employees with clearly an attitude. The last visit, there was someone at the prep table behind the register. Thought they were getting better after speaking with a “manager.” Today was my last straw. Waited over 30 minutes for an order that was placed in advance. While waiting I still had to wait on customers that were in the line after being there 30 mins. I mentioned it to the staff, and she stated, “she understood the wait is an issue” when she clearly cared less. But as soon as I made it home. Multiple and I mean MULTIPLE STRANDS OF HAIR ON MY SALAD! Called the store and the “manager” stated “he understands” and to wait until he is over lunch to refund my order. I’m sick to my stomach and so is my husband. And they were tipped!! Infuriating at the least!
Today (2/24/22) I visited Salata’s on Business Center Dr in Pearland around 4:30pn and received poor customer service. Upon my arrival I politely informed the server I have severe food allergies. The young girl didn’t know what to do so the middle age white lady took over which I was grateful. However, I informed her 2 to 3 times I was ordering a wrap. By the time we made it to the salad dressing, she asked me again because she realized she placed too much greens in the bowl to make it work so I politely just shared it’s ok and go ahead and make it a salad. As she was pouring the to go cups for the extra virgin olive oil, another worker just walked up and grabbed my bowl and proceeded asking me what else can he help me with. Shockingly, I informed him I had an allergy and he shouldn’t have grabbed my bowl. It was then that I noticed the previous middle age white server has a large open sore on her right arm. I was even more in shock that she was allowed to serve anyone in that condition. Now, I’m devastated with the sore on her arm and the guy who had grabbed my bowl. I polity asked him to change his gloves. At this point, he just rudely wasted portion of my protein on the counter along with some of the other ingredients in the bowl while he was moving it down and it got even worst when he attempted to toss the salad (wasting even more of my food). This entire experience was a disappointment and disastrous dealing with employees with open sores and just plain rude employees disrespectfully handling customers food. I’ve been visiting this establishment for quite some time and never experienced this issue until I was faced with these two employees who clearly demonstrated a lack of caring. When I arrived home, I just threw this food in the garbage simply because I do not want to be exposed to anyone open sores as well as my salad had some of the food hanging outside the container. I don’t think I will be visiting this local again until some severe corrections are being made.
Your line servers should be retrained. Not pleasant at all!! The main one that is not friendly and quite gruff never has a name tag on. And if you ask for a 2nd scoop of anything there is major attitude! Not a great representation considering the line is our first interaction with your employees. Don't know that I'll dine again soon.
