I found the best breakfast spot! I was helped fast, the food was great! Price was well worth the food! Check them out
This place was just awesome! I met the owner who appeared to be very friendly and down to earth. He was sitting out at the table. I met his sister who was also down to earth and had a beautiful smile. She was serving food and in and out of the building delivering food, she is a jack of all trades. The staff at the counter they all were very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the migas plate, and you know I could not leave without trying the maple glazed donut with bacon!! I'm not too sure of the blonde lady behind the counter, she was a little rude to one employee. She snatched some bags ,took them back into the kitchen after muttering something... I didn't particularly care for that, but you never know what kind of day someone is having. I'm sure the next time I go in she will be better. Customers are always watching. The place is clean, and inviting. It's nice to walk into a peaceful place with everything that's going on in our world. I talked to a few of the customers and everyone loves this place. So thanks to the owner and the staff for a peaceful, delicious, enjoyable experience.
Aside from the great food and unique offerings, they have the friendliest staff. They truly make you feel at home
All I can say for now is that their donuts are AWESOME! (try their famous maple and bacon donut). Friendly staff also. I'm a big breakfast sandwhich kind of a guy so I have yet to try their sandwhiches. I heard they're really good. Can't wait to try them. Stay tuned....
I love Pena's! Their donuts are always fresh and have a great soft texture and a good chew on their yeast donuts. They have a sandwich you can get between two donuts, so if you don't care what happens to your body, I suggest trying one out sometime, it's good!My go to are the donut holes and a jalapeño, sausage and cheese kolache.
We were looking for another breakfast place and found this gem. Came in a Sunday morning and the place was hopping. Even though there was a ‘revolving door’ with take out orders we did not have to wait a long time for our bacon, egg and cheese breakfast tacos. Tacos are tacos but these had real chunks of bacon that you could actually see and taste! Very yummy. We will be back.
First time in this place and I gotta say it’s very nice! Fast and friendly service. Very helpful. An impressive selection. They have a maple bacon donut! I will definitely try this. Great coffee. Easy to get in and out of. It’s also crazy close to my office so I’ll be frequenting this amazing donut shop!
The food is good! The doughnuts are not Shipleys but they’re not bad. The other menu items are the best. However, this is not the place to go if you have somewhere to be like work, or really anything like that. I called ahead to try and place an order over the phone. They asked me to hold which I said yes. They set the phone down and walked away for over ten minutes. So I arrive at the store and go in and order and wait for 15 minutes, I ask the cashier if my order is going to be ready soon and she says I don’t know, You can always order over the phone, to which i tell her I tried. She looks confused. I’m going to have to make this a weekend place, where I’ve got my morning cleared to wait
We lived in Pearland for 6 years and stopped here often. Mostly for breakfast, but occasionally for lunch. Their basic donuts and burgers are fine, but Pena’s shines with their specials and special order donuts. The barbacoa is amazing. The more toppings on the burgers, the better they are. We’ve ordered birthday donuts that are fresh, perfectly frosted, and ready at the right time. We even ordered one shaped like a fox and it was the size of a cake! They have a drive thru that is often packed, but moves fairly quickly.Beyond the food, Pena’s supports first responders and veterans, and they support the local community.Great food and a great business. We miss them already!
Let me tell you so far this is the best donut/grille place I have ever been. You can get a donut and a burger at the same time!!! The donut burger was delicious you get the balance of the sweet and slaty combo together. I also had the queso burger which was huge but so worth getting. We went about 11am, by that time majority of the donuts were gone but I was able to get the donuts I actually want which were the cinnamon roll and the classic Homer simpson donut. If you are looking at some of their popular donuts I would suggest getting there at open so you don't miss out. The staff were very friendly, patient and inviting.
