There was a bug in my food I didn't look beyond the white rice how could I even eat this food? Waste of money. I was comped for the rice only.
There’s so many menu items that you can veganize here and keep the good flavor, I love that!
Portion of rice seemed small, however the beef and broccoli was hot and delicious. So 3 stars seemed too low. Used their app to order OLO. Polite young lady showed me where to pick up my order since this was my first time at this location. Also ordered a side of noodles with lomein sauce and they were awesome. I see other reviews complain about portion size. I feel the protein was adequate for the price, maybe ensure the chefs are using the right portioning tool for white rice, but still not a deal breaker for me.

Went last night and placed an order for 3 plates, of which one was their new dish, very disappointing. The chicken was hard, dry, and tough. No one in our household ate it. The honey seared shrimp is now a third of its original portion size although the price is the same...again disappointing. As a family we order from here quite frequently but if this is the new standard we'll be going elsewhere.
Terrible food. I've had better tasting TV dinners. Vegetable Spring Rolls tasted funny. Person who waited on us was nice. Will not eat here again.
Just ordered lunch with my co-workers. Not sure if it's just for today but the General Tso's I ordered was not good at all. The rice was not properly cooked. You can feel the crunchiness of the unproperly cooked rice. The wonton soup has a weird taste. Taste like plastic. Never again. I'm blaming my co-worker who recommended this place. And I then I found out that he didn't even order lunch at this place today. PeiWei Bay Area, Webster Location.
Must be new management. Portions are smaller food quality not as good as it once was. Service going down also. Use to really like this restaurant. WE GIVE, NOT GOING BACK!
We just bought 3 wonton soup and the taste was awful and can not tell if it was spoiled or it tasted like plastic because of the containers, I have been buying there for a while and this is the first time I have a complaint.
First, I have always raved about how good pei wei to my friends and family and have eaten there over a 100 times since they have opened. Quit possibly 200 or more. The Spicy Polynesian bowl was my go too. Wow, how things have changed! I searched and searched but this restaurant did not have it on the menu. This was my 1st time at this restaurant as it is on the way to my fiancé s house. My norm is over by Baybrook. They have changed also and not for the better. So ya no Polynesian bowl. Now, I am waiting. Everyone in the restaurant is busy. It's 6:30. 2 minutes go by. 5 minutes go by. About 7 minutes later, hi may I take your order ☺ First time she took the order wrong You can tell she was over worked and under paid. I felt sorry for the cooks. They looked like a couple of drones. Working hard over the fire. I sat down with my son and had a coke. It tasted kinda funny so I poured it out. Got some tea. Should have started with that anyway. 10 minutes goes by. 15 minutes About 18 minutes later we get our food. We took it home. At home I noticed the size has diminished. My lettuce wrap had become less chicken and more filler veggies. It was good but the flavor was not what I remember. Good is as far as it goes now. It used to be delicious and awesome. And to add insult to injury. No fortune cookies or utensils. If you want good Chinese food don't go here. If you just want ro put something in your belly and pay to much go here. Pei Wei ? R.I.P.
