We love this restaurant and will go back at a later date, however, our party of 6 started to notice it was very warm in the dining area. Come to find out, the AC was not working! We finished and left asap. Would have been nice to have been warned.
Food was better than i remembered! Service was courteous but not very warm. The hostess really didnât have her heart in it. However with lackluster air conditioning, I can completely empathize with her and the restaurant staff. It was sooooooo hot inside. Our experience was positive enough for me to return againâbut the uncomfortable temperature will make me wait a few months versus returning within the next couple of weeks.
The food was very good. The service was excellent The experience was not good because it was about 90 degrees in the restaurant. It was too expensive too be that hot. Fix the A/C. I hate paying that kind of money to have sweat running down my face.
The Saturday brunch was good. Food and beverages were good too.
We love this place and come at least twice a month. On this occasion, we came in a large group for a friends birthday. The service was top-notch and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the brisket queso, the grilled fish tacos, and the Tres leches bread pudding.
The food and mango/strawberry margs were great. Everyone in our group ordered something different-all good! The brisket queso was delicious.

All great it was just too hot.
Food was great and we got seated in a back semi private room . However the main dining area was hot and smelled like feet or wet carpet. Not a smell I could stand and have dinner at the same time.
Any visits to one of Killen's restaurants is always hard to beat. They had removed my wife's favorite lobster tacos from the menu this visit. So, what we drove across town to get was no longer available. The food this visit was a little disappointing. The service however was excellent. Perhaps just an off day in the kitchen. We will be back to see if the food has improved from this visit.
