Hubs and I stopped in for a quick tortilla soup. There was a small crowd with it being a holiday weekend. Soup was cold but our server Daniel, although he was new there, had the manager Emanuel at our table in no time and gave us fresh hot soups. Thank you for the great service! It was just soup but it's the level of service that we appreciate. We'll definitely be back!
When my sister and I first arrived, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. However, the first area we were taken to was in an area for large groups and it was too crowded for our liking. I asked our hostess if we could be seated somewhere else and we were obliged. We had to wait about 10 minutes so the table could be bussed and cleaned. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes before someone came and asked if we'd been helped and shortly after, our waiter, Griffin, came to take our drink orders. He was very polite, attentive, and had a nice smile. Our food was OK. I had the fried shrimp enchiladas with refried beans. I've had better entrees but wanted to try something new. I also had a pineapple margarita and it was great!I've dined at this location before and received good service so we weren't upset. It was slightly busy so we understood. And Griffin was AWESOME so he more than made up for the delays.
We looked forward eating at Gringo’s since we were visiting ex-Houstonians. During our 45 minute wait inside, the music was so loud that I thought they had a live band. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. A ceiling fan was slowly turning breaking the steam of light from a corner spot light. It was sooo annoying. I do believe it could cause a seizure in the right person. We asked the waiter to turn off the ceiling fan to stop the strobing light. He in turned asked someone else but nothing was done. Needless to say, the three of us had a miserable experience and huge headache. I think the food was great as we remembered but we were rushing to finish and leave.
I attended a private birthday celebration. The buffet food was fresh and delicious. I ordered a mango/peach margarita w/sugar(rim). I received after a long wait (they kept bringing me someone elses strawberry margarita)a drink with a hint(syrupy)of peach in a REGULAR margarita with lime slice on rim. Horrible! I tried but, it was so bitter I couldn't drink. I told waitstaff and he never picked it up nor returned with a replacement. I pd over $17. I gave $20 and left drink on table.
We had a server named Tanesha who did an excellent job. Autumn seated us. She did very well also. The food came out on time and was fresh. We didn't order alcohol which probably also helped since she didn't have to coordinate with the bar. A very good experience.
Substantial menu selections. Delicious Tortilla soup, great tasting shrimp diablo Aka shrimp wrapped in bacon. Excellent customer service.
The food is great! I wanted to emphasize that their service was also exceptional. Our server, Griffin, made a difference in our experience. He was very welcoming, attentive, and informative. We left very impressed with their service and with a happy belly.
Service is lacking. Compared to Katy near cinco ranch, this was poor. I give it a 3 because the food is still good. No silverware, forgot our drinks, no napkins, asked for chips- not at all what we are used to at Gringos.
Great lunch, sign up for the rewards, this month is a shrimp empanada
Dine in to this restaurant for the first time. Great service and food options. My sons had quesadillas (chicken & beef) - both were delish! I had questions and it was served in a fried tortilla bowl with salad fixings. Service was particularly good since we sat at the bar and the busy bartenders handled food and drink efficiently. Highly recommend.
