Emma’s has the best service and most amazing Margaritas! In addition to the classics, order their shrimp cocktail— awesome twist!
It has taken me a while to review my experience. After no response from manager, I decided to write this review, not out of anger, but out of sincere warning to other customers. I recently ordered takeout from Emmasmexgrill, for those who have done this, you know pricing is a bit high, but you pay for quality right? When I saw my mom take a fork of rice and saw a hair going into her mouth ..I freaked. We noticed hairs in her rice.]not hair but hairs.I called restaurant right away to let them know they needed to discard the rice..this was not one hair these were hairs within the rice. Young lady asked if we wanted to come back and get fresh rice? I explained this experience did not leave us wanting anymore rice or rest of our food. I told her who I was and she needed to let manager know what happened. My thought was, I am sure it was not intentional, I am sure the manager will call me back. Never received a call back from anyone I bought 4 tacos, 2 soups and a queso and paid $76.00. This of course is the last order they will get from our family.
A great neighborhood restaurant, been around for years, the food is great, service is quick, margaritas are awesome and the staff is top notch!!!! Highly recommended ???
Tried this place because we were from out of town visiting family and wanted to support local businesses. Food was good, enjoyed the chips and 2 different salsa varieties. Portions were generous. Typical mexican fare. Margarita was delicious. Prices were a bit high though. Nothing to complain about, but nothing that made it stand out either. Not being from the area, not sure how it compares to other mexican restaurants.
The food was good, was told they can't do the margaritas half and half which I've never been told before and it was a little pricey for a small margarita. The cheese enchiladas and tamale were really good. I don't like a bunch of salt but felt a few items needed more salt.
Our service was great, the chicken Flautas I ordered were yummy, I would prefer a flour tortilla instead of corn though. The side of beans and rice were perfect. Hubby got three chicken tacos he thought were okay.
There is place for improvement. The food was good, but the portions were too big. I ordered a draft beer and the mug was warm to the touch. Our server was good.
It was hard to photograph the food well, but I had the Talum...grilled Red snapper with shrimp! It was really good and I also had a house salad with with Chipotle Honey dressing! To wash it all down, I had yhe frozen tropical Peach margaritas! It was great, didn't have a weird after taste and didn't leave me with a hangover! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the ferns and outdoor vibe!
I have to say this was the first time we went to Emma's but it certainly won't be the last! The chips were fresh and the red and green sauce were the absolute best I have eaten in my 54 years on this Earth! The queso was nice and creamy. I had the street tacos and they were huge, I brought home leftovers and just had them for lunch. My boyfriend had the seafood enchiladas and those were outstanding as well.
Amazing food and super quick service.
