Lovely Family business with affordable prices! The food is sooo good! Would be a regular if I didn’t live that far.
Chicken & waffles for the win! Fluffy waffles dusted with powdered sugar. Hot, juicy chicken breasts crisply breaded. Both perfectly balanced with a warm cup of medium roast coffee. Are you drooling yet? You should be! Hubs had standard breakfast fare and it was tasty as well. Don’t let the outside appearance of this little cafe deter you - food was delicious, service was fast, staff was friendly. You won’t be disappointed by breakfast or brunch at this hidden gem.
Family and I where visiting a beach near houston. We decide to have breakfast on our last day. We picked this spot because it had great reviews and food looked delicious. We where so happy we traveled 30 minutes from our hotel to go and enjoy our wonderful breakfast experience at Country Place Cafe. Not only is every piece of food delicious but you get amazing portions. Everyone in the restaurant is so kind and helpful. They all made us feel right at home. If you are looking into breakfast, don’t skip on this delicious experience
Love this hidden gem. Great breakfast and lunch options with huge serving sizes. The food never disappoints. I wish they stayed open til later. Highly recommended!!!
The entire menu it’s delicious my favorite is the big country with pork sausage gravy on top.
830am breakfast. Ambiance isn't the best and the inside is small for sit down dining. The staff was excellent, menu is concise, food to price ratio is all good. All food seems to be homemade, which is a big plus. I didn't enjoy the waffles though
A small little gem we discovered one day, their food was beyond amazing. We had the chicken and waffles and the country breakfast. It was the most crispy chicken I’ve had in a very long time, the gravy was delicious! The biscuit and jams were mouth watering. The food was absolutely to notch!The establishment is a bit on the smaller scale, I believe there were only about ten tables or so. Don’t let that stop you from waiting!! From our first step in we received fantastic service from the sweet employee who served on us. She was a complete delight! My apologies, your name escapes me.I have recommended this gem to many friends and family members and will definitely be a place we will continue to visit often!
Wow! I’m so happy that we found this gem! The food was delicious and the portions were amazing! Everything fresh and the service..The service just made me want to stay in Houston and eat here weekly! The care the ladies give is GREAT! It’s a small place so I can see why there is a line. Either way I’ve shared with family in the area but we will be back soon.

Great food and our Server was over the top friendly. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the omelet. Good was delicious and hot. Again can't say enough about it server. Even though we had a big party she never got frustrated and did an out standing job. Next time in H-town we'll be back that way.
