SORELY DISAPPOINTED. I was excited to see a local place have macarons. However, my excitement turned to extreme disappointment when I took my first bite. EXTREMELY hard! I tried another one, same thing. Definitely not fresh.
This place has great Mexican bread. We order for my in laws 60 anniversary and the order was perfect. This place smell so amazing I didn't want to leave. The service was so great and very helpful on on my order. Highly recommended!! Go get u some CARAMELITOS!!
This place is a hidden jewel. I drive by 5 or 6 different balerys to get to this one. Service is always on point. We usually order our rolls a day or two in advance, but cannot leave without buy their macaroons. We love em. I definitely recommend this place for breads and snacks.
When I first started going to Caramelitos, they were amazing. Tasty bread, warm off the rack, and often good customer service. This has changed, now when I go there often isn't any bread, and to make matters worse if I buy some pan dulce the customer service is terrible. I waited almost five minutes for someone to go to the register so I could pay. My lunch break is 30 minutes, so I needed to get going. There are always 3-4 people working there but it feels like nobody wants to help customers. Maybe it's better on the weekends, but on Monday and Tuesday around noon I've noticed the customer service is extremely poor. The Conchas I bought (pink and yellow) were harder than usual, scratchy, probably 2-3 days old as they tasted off compared to usual.
I called and spoke to Blanca today to ask if she could possibly deliver some pastries for funeral services this afternoon and she was gracious to offer her help. She sent me pictures of everything she had in her bakery cases. Then she boxed up everything that we selected and drove them over to the funeral home for the family. I really appreciate all your time and efforts Blanca!! Thank you for providing awesome customer service to someone who lives out of state and could not be there in person. Blessings.- - Beatrice
Update 03/26/22: Still the same great place and now they've expanded the eating area. Also, the selection seems to have been enhanced. Support your local Pearland bakery. I had not been here since they opened, they used to be small with very few options. They have grown and have much more variety now. I was also impressed with their cake ball display, they were all so adorable! I will be coming back to try them.
They did a great job on the numbers cake for my father in law! Was able to give the order 1-2 days before and decorations were exactly like the picture I sent! Chocolate cupcakes were moist and still taste good 2 days after. Will definitely be back here
The cake pops is my go to with the bakery they make beautiful cakes as well and the pan dulceee uuufff! They never fail best I’ve ever had! Special orders they are the best at it! Can’t wait to see my recent order! Pics will be sent soon!
Ordered a last minute cake for a gender reveal and they went above and beyond!! Cake was just like the pictures I showed them. They take pride in their product and have pulled through for me on multiple occasions.
