What’s going on here? Big Horn is slowly but surely losing its quality. The food was amazing at one time and that allowed me to give them grace every time they messed up my order. I used to love their sandwiches with the sweet brioche bun. They turned it into an upgrade and now it’s completely disappeared. Worse off, the employees act like the regular bun IS the brioche bun. Maybe I’m the crazy one lol but it’s not special anymore and not worth the long commute that it once was.
I have been going to big horn for the last two years. I always order the chop beef sandwich with fries. The thing that made it taste so fresh was the bun. But I went today and something has changed with that bun. The bun doesn’t taste fresh anymore.

One of the best foods I’ve had. Price was very and quality of food was great.brisket tacos were the best good and juicy and nachos were very good with cheese.
Picked up food for my son and I last night. My son chicken was all red on the inside which he didn’t eat. The mac and cheese taste like it came straight from a can. The mash potatoes, I ordered loaded mash potatoes and I received pain extra small scoop dried out mash potatoes with nothing on top. I ordered a sliced beef sandwich and I had no pickles or onions on it. I also ordered a piece of pecan pie for $4.99 and I’ve never seen a piece of pie that small. Usual you will get a decent size dessert for barbecue places. The food was too bland and none of it was satisfactory but I was too tired for working a 12 hour shift to drive back so that was almost $50 wasted. I will not return.

First visit 2/7/2022. Drive-thru for lunch. Customer service was great, food was lacking. Little to no flavor in the meats. I had jalapeño sausage and sliced brisket with potato salad & sweet potato fries. The pink lemonade was really refreshing.
Went by this place today and ordered a brisket burger; which cost almost $10. The sandwich was bad. It was soaked with grease. The bottom bun was flat with grease and the burger had no flavor. I added a napkin underneath and it was drenched with grease. The smoke meat that was put on the burger was not much and had clumps of fat. I posted this because, it’s absolutely a shame to charge that kind of money for that kind of food. I was not happy about that. Loaded with grease and no smoke flavor or seasoning. ? I’d give a zero if it was available.
I go to both Pearland and Manvel locations somewhat often when I’m in one of the two areas. Great atmosphere, great service but what happened to the food quality? Used to be amazing food and taste but seems like there had to of been a vendor change for food? The flavor just isn’t there anymore. Green beans were good, Mac and cheese was bland and tasted like it came out of a bag or the banquet brand frozen style. Raspberry tea was delicious. I may give them another try but wow. Not the worst bar b q but definitely noted the change in degraded quality.
