This is my first time here. If I could rate 10 stars it's worth it. I had Shrimps and gritts. It is the best I have had. The French toast was also so good.
It was ok. Service was ok. I appreciate an open atmosphere but not when I can see every server standing around on the phone...lol Food was a decent. The biscuits and gravy was delicious as well as the Bourbon st cakes (so yummy). The crab cake benedict was meh, not my favorite. Tried the Cafe amore, ummm no comment...not for me. I gave 3 stars because the price did not match the experience.
Rum French Toast was absolutely amazing. Some others had seafood dishes. Waitress was very cute, friendly and good. Food came out very quickly. Good for breakfast or brunch.
Went on a Sunday morning around 9:30am so I was expecting to have to wait. The restaurant was full but only had a 15 min wait. It seems small on the inside, so the seating is somewhat close, but it is very clean and I liked the decor. There is no music being played nor a live band, so you're not going to get that vibe. The service was great without being to present. The menu had several things that I would have loved to try, but I went with the chicken and waffles. I liked everything about that except that they use boneless chicken. It's not a deal breaker, but I feel that you get more flavor with the bone in. We didn't try any of the alcoholic beverages so I can't speak on that. Maybe next time. I would say count on spending between $15 - 25 per person. We have a lot more places to try as we just moved to the area, but I definitely could see us coming back.
Great place to at in pearland we came Memorial Day weekend and the wait was fine all around due to the day we tried this place out and the food was amazing honestly. This place is home feel and great food, will recommend this restaurant for breakfast hands down.
Wish I had photos to show the joy!! The service was great and friendly. The menus had tons of choices and the even have a companion menu for gluten free and vegetarian options. I had the Lucie Omelette and it was a big service. The City grits were very tasty too. We are only in two a couple of days but if not this would would be a weekly spot!!!
Had an awesome Mother’s Day here. I highly recommend the city grits. Hash brown Benedict was great.
Great Service , food was really good. Definitely coming back
I’ve been sleeping on this place, their food is pretty good. This was my first time. I had the pancakes, potatoes, bacon and grand mimosa. I love that they use good quality bacon! I deducted 1 star because the syrup had water in it which ruined my pancakes so I had to wait on a replacement. Also, they don’t give free refills on orange juice and they don’t bother to mention it either so to our surprise when we got the bill we saw the additional charge. Overall the food and service is good so I’ll most likely go back.
We use to love this place. Unfortunately, our pickup order food today was horrible and we ending up throwing it all away. Shrimp and grits had small, overcooked shrimp and no flavor. The croissant french toast was so dry and flavorless. What a waste of money. So disappointed and will not be coming back
