Consistently good. Or even better to me if you order the thin sliced lean. Like everywhere these days the price is high for food and service but ... what do you do? Enjoy ?
Stopped by after church to get my Patty Melt and Brisket Burger. I promise if you try the Patty Melt you will be back again to order another. This is a fairly new location so I had to wait till the grill gets broken in to order food. It's good to go now! If you don't know the prices at Pappas's are expensive when it comes food so be prepared! I paid $60 for 3 burgers, drinks, and fries! Look at the picture! That's why it's a treat when I come here!
Friendly workers, conscientiously courteous service with a smile. Delightful atmosphere, love the decor! Pleasant atmosphere and experience overall! Fast service and highly recommended!
Pappas is consistently the best barbecue in town (or out of town). We ate in Pasadena at the Oleander location and it was great. The manager helped my wife with ordering for a gluten free meal. The pork ribs were superb and the brisket was amazing. I got the beans and cream corn and they were great. We love the whole Pappas restaurant chain.

Worst ribs I've ever been served, but the sweet potatoes were outstanding. I've eaten at Pappas BBQ twice now and it was disappointing both times. I'll drive thru for some sweet taters though.
Used the drive thru. Ordered our meal, a rib plate with two sides. Cashier told us they only had 3 beef ribs not 4 like the plate comes with. No problem swap the other for a pork rib then. Ok but you will have to pay for the beef rib plate and an extra pork rib even though you will be shorted a beef rib. What! Get your manager. As it turns out there are only 3 ribs on the plate. Ok so we’ll take the plate with the baked potato that counts as 2 sides. In the time we waited, the cashier sold the ribs to another drive up customer. Left in a hurry with no food. On the way to The Brisket House BBQ where food is good and customer service is great! Should have started here.
I love Pappas and have always had a great experience. This was my first and last time visiting this location. I ordered the 3 rib platter. My ribs were tough to chew and luke warm. My sides were the potato salad and texas dirty rice. The containers were barely filled half way. My rice was hard and cold as well. Very disappointed. I'll stick to my normal locations.
Worst over priced food ever. Cold, dry and tasteless. Chopped beef sandwich was mostly fat. Brisket plate was cold, dry, and tasteless. Side dishes were cold little taste. This place doesn’t deserve to brandish the Papa’s name.
This was some awesome BBQ! Place was clean , so much to choose from on the menu. Loved the condiment and Sauce bar. Fast friendly service. A little in the pricey side but we’ll worth it. Large dining area inside. They also have double drive thru lanes. Table and bar seating. Some outdoor seating as well. The homemade pecan pie is off the hook! Various other desserts.
